As someone who has one of the only homes left standing after the fires, it's been obvious his entire claim has been full of shit. He's paying over $40,000 per month to live in a hotel and at no point was he ever forced into living in an Airstream because LA has a robust rental market.
Even the guy who is getting divorced from Denise Richards because he beat her and stole a bunch of her money has found a place (he's renting a place from a well-known musician), so a wildfire victim would certainly have been able to locate lodging.
And, while I think Bass is objectively one of the worst politicians in America and can't stand her, his constant blaming of her for the fires is laughably idiotic given the fires last year was literally a perfect storm (and an arsonist for one of the others).
This dude's entire life has been one giant grift.

Spencer Pratt has gained traction in his campaign for L.A. Mayor by showing what he says Karen Bass did to his family -- forcing them to live in a trailer after his home burned down. Though, Pratt has really been staying at the Hotel Bel-Air for more than a month. Mind you, you can't get a room for less than $1,500 a night.

The Police Protective League is coming to the rescue. They are dropping $105k on digital ads that are pretty clearly trying to bolster Rae Huang’s name ID & pretend she is DSA’s candidate (they endorsed no one but “recommended” Raman).

The thing about this Mayor race that has me losing my mind is that "only I can fix the problem THEY created" is a political campaign as old as time, but to hear them say it when THEY have both been in office for YEARS is truly mind boggling stuff.

I think that's totally your right. I honestly have no idea who I'm going to vote for, but having been in LA for 20 years and in Raman's district her entire time in office, I don't think there is a world where I can justify voting for either of those people. You would never re-hire a restaurant manager who you personally watched run your restaurant into the ground, even if the alternative was someone you were not excited by.
