Arc Raiders might be losing players again and the reasons are starting to stack up.
Endgame feels limited updates are missing the mark and the PvP versus PvE conflict is not going away.
When players cannot find their place in the experience they eventually step away.
So the real question is can this be fixed before it is too late?

@IronBorg @MattWallaceTech Don’t be fooled by seeing a few posts of those who have the latest update. The update deployment has been estimated to be sent to around 1% to 10% of the fleet. I have a 2026 and am waiting myself. The Death Star took time to get destroyed-this update is larger-but it’s coming.

@MattWallaceTech Ok that makes me feel a little better. I was worried that they were placing older cars lower on the poles.

ARC Raiders has lost around 81% of its Steam player base since launch. The game peaked at 466,000 concurrent players in early January 2026, and four months later that number has fallen to just 80,000 to 90,000.
Players have pointed to two main issues driving the drop. Repetitive PvE content has left a large part of the player base feeling burnt out, while a growing cheater problem has pushed many others away.

It won’t. The Cybertruck’s polarizing styling was a big reason it struggled, and most people buy vehicles on feeling. A dystopian 3-row will hit the same ceiling. Not a knock on Tesla, they make plenty of great looking vehicles, just not this design language.
