Would love nothing more than for this countries ruling class to feel a dose of the suffering they dished out.

In 1980 China followed the U.S. to boycott the Moscow Olympic Games in protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. People’s Daily editorial “The Obligation to Safeguard International Justice.” My generation of Chinese didn’t watch our first Olympic Games until 1984 in LA.

BREAKING: Illinois introduces a bill to force unvaccinated residents to pay out of pocket for their hospital treatment if they catch COVID, saying that they “must asume the risk” and “take responsibility” for their carelessness. RT IF YOU THINK THAT YOUR STATE SHOULD DO THE SAME!

Liberals: China is a genocidal militaristic empire bent on world domination. Also Liberals: whoa what's with all the anti-Asian hate?!

@SpiritofHo Are you saying the oil embargo against imperial Japan was bad? Crazy that a Left wing person would take an objectively pro-Fascist talking point.

Another example of historical distortion. U.S. knew that Japan was going to attack and let it happen. U.S. had provoked Japan into an attack via an oil embargo aka sanctions. Tulsi Gabbard doesn't know her history.
Tulsi Gabbard 🌺@TulsiGabbard

I’ve been on Reserve duty at Ft Bragg, NC, thinking about Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, my brothers and sisters in arms who perished, and how that day of infamy catapulted us into a world war which… (1/3)

@atrupar What is the big deal though Aaron? Seriously, why should anyone in the US who works for a living give two shits about this?

Omicron still hasn’t even put points on the board yet, wildly overrated variant. Now Delta there’s a variant you could set your watch to.

Working people have actual problems and material concerns that we should be focused on addressing. They aren't animated by patriotism, but most don't self consciously despise the US either. They got bigger shit to worry about, and so should we.

to our side. But this argument is good as bait to make everyone jump over themselves to demonstrate their anti-patriotic bonafides. Just like we're not winning people over with flag waiving, we're also not winning anyone over with "hell yeah death to Amerikkka!" This is Cop shit.

Just saw a reply comparing Xi Jinping to Hitler. Hilariously wrong. Xi should rightfully be compared to Stalin, a great humanitarian leader whose leadership has improved the lives of millions, especially the rural poor #SocialismWithChineseCharacteristics #Stalin

For all of Trotsky's contributions to the Bolshevik revolution and victory in the Civil War (unlike many ML's I'll acknowledge he had his virtues). The fact remains that he was in the final analysis, a traitor.
鍾翔宇 Xiangyu@notXiangyu

@CanadianCentury how about you read Goebbels' diary and see what he had to say about using Trotskyist propaganda in an attempt to weaken the Soviet Union from within. Even if Trotsky wasn't a fascist, his political activities abroad objectively aided the fascists.

It's astonishing that someone who makes $174,000 a year isn't embarrassed to ask working class taxpayers to pay off her law school debt. At least they're honest: $50,000 in student loan forgiveness is a bail out for highly educated elites, and the Squad are their patron saints.
The Hill@thehill

Rep. @RashidaTlaib: "I worked full time, Monday through Friday, and took weekend classes to get my law degree. And still, close to $200,000 in debt. And I still owe over $70,000 and most of it was interest."

@maxajl Funny thing with these types, when it comes to defending tepid social Democrats at home it's "Left unity" and "pragmatism". But when it comes to movements against US imperialism it's "nuanced criticisms" and "avoid campism".
