@vtchakarova At that point the Fabian Society tactic is simply to move the goalposts further left in another way. The influence of the Fabian Society is what we are fighting in the West. ‘Gradualism’ is killing us. The way to kill it is to shine a spotlight on it. logicalpolitics.co.uk/the-doctrine-o…

@cgy_guy @aidenwpkenny The irony of the train would be if Ottawa sets it in motion and then Alberta separates - who is gonna pay for it??? 🤔😂😂😂

@Sickbay0 @DrEliDavid That’s fine - just send some tomahawks and keep sanctions in place on Russia. …and find out if Obama gave a green light for Russia to go in.

America doesn't depend on any oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz. Those who depend on it are pathetic European countries that not only didn't help the US when asked, but actively sabotaged US military efforts by denying their airspace and airports. F*CK YOU ALL! _

It’s official! Alberta and Canada have signed a final agreement to build major projects faster. This agreement puts Alberta back in the driver’s seat for projects within our borders. It means less duplication, fewer delays and stronger investor confidence, all while growing our economy and protecting the environment for years to come. We have secured 2 of 4 agreements under the MOU, showing real progress is possible as we continue to build a stronger partnership that supports investment, major projects, and jobs for Albertans. For perspective, Uzbekistan has had a 600km HIGH SPEED RAIL connection between its two largest cities for 15 YEARS now. UZBEKISTAN. The distance between Montréal and Toronto is about 540km. But Pierre Poilievre thinks it's just too big for 🇨🇦 to handle? share.google/8kjPfxjOPgPNbL…

I never thought I would say it, but I do agree with EU that NATO should be dissolved. It was formed to defend against Soviets. They are gone. What did NATO accomplish since? Bombed Serbia, Libya, invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Why should US spend 100s of billions to protect EU?

@Alfonzo10432880 No. If Russians want the Russian language they only have to move the distance of Boston to NYC to get it. Do NOT expect Eastern Europe to capitulate. Russians are no one’s friends except Russians. …and Canada is a failed state on the verge of collapse.

If you have 20% of population with a different language, it is an issue of human right to allow them to maintain it. Why are you opposing diversity? Look at Canada, they also have 20% of french and the whole country is bilingual. Even in BS all road signs are in english and french. That is includion. Do this and russians will be your best buddies.

@MastrXYZ @USronaldcarter The current problem is the finger pointing. Both sides have wronged the other at various times. If everyone can’t settle down China is going to find a way to put the final nail in the coffin and become the world’s outright dominant power.

🚨 NOBODY KNOWS HOW FUCKED NATO ACTUALLY IS RIGHT NOW. In the last 72 hours, watch who walked away: 🇫🇷 France: Blocked US military overflight for weapons to Israel — FIRST TIME since war began Feb 28. Israel cut ALL defense procurement from France. 🇮🇹 Italy: Denied Sigonella air base landing to US bombers. Defense Minister said relations are "solid and loyal." DAYS after blocking US planes. 🇪🇸 Spain: Closed ENTIRE airspace to US operations. Blocked Naval Station Rota AND Morón Air Base. PM Sánchez called it "not NATO collective defense." 🇵🇱 Poland: Refused to redeploy Patriot batteries. US burned through 1,200+ interceptors in 16 days. Poland said no. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Denied 2 US reconnaissance flights. Suspended $120,000,000 in weapons exports under "neutrality laws." 🇬🇧 UK: PM said "this is not our war." Trump told them to "build up some delayed courage." 🇩🇪 Germany: President Steinmeier called war "possibly illegal." WHILE hosting Ramstein — largest US base outside America. That is: France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, UK, and Germany. All in ONE week. When this many allies abandon you at once, it's not a disagreement. It's a collapse.

@Alfonzo10432880 ‘Fairly’ treat? All people in Eesti are treated equally. It is Moscow that demands special treatment for Russians - like Russian language schools at taxpayer expense. If Russians want to start a PRIVATE school that teaches the Russian language they are welcome to do so.

@IrunbadGaming Estonia has ~20% russian population. It is a NATO member, so nothing will happen, but just in case, they should treat fairly their russian minorities.

As for the "dead beat dads" False, just on monetary terms. ⬇️QT Also: US people usually don't understand that NONE of the "Nato Flank" countries would be economically as successful if they didn't have SUBSTANTIAL, self funded Marshal-Plan level of economic development support from the other EU-27 members. The higher military spend? Enabled by EU-27 Financially: The USA caused the GFC 2008, bounced back faster bc "exorbitant privilege" aka Petro-Dollar, Obama had the chutzpah to rant at Europe in that situation, while austerity rolled over the continent. Politically: The USA worked hard to make Europe & Canada dependent on the USA. (Albright's 3 D's)
Joel Willans@VFinnishProbs

The US doesn’t “pay for Europe's defence”. Of a $968bn global defence budget, only $33bn is spent in Europe, mostly on US bases which are not NATO bases. The actual US funding of NATO is approx $600m a year, about the same as Germany. The myth dies on contact with arithmetic.

Some “European leaders” are doing everything they can to finish off NATO. For Macron, this might even be a welcome opportunity to cut the ill-loved transatlantic ties. And then what? It is primarily the Baltic and Eastern European countries, which are on the front lines, that will bear the consequences, not to mention Ukraine. Will France step in if the U.S. finally stops supplying weapons?
Visegrád 24@visegrad24

BREAKING: Israel ends all defense deals with France The Israeli Ministry of Defense has suspended all defense procurement from France and terminated existing contracts. This decision follows Paris's refusal to allow U.S. aircraft carrying military supplies for Israel to transit French airspace. 🇮🇱🇫🇷

Putin says a lot of dumb and irritating stuff, so does Trump and Zelensky. I do not care all that much what they say. I care what I see. So far I did not see russia invading foreign country in absence of historical link to land or people. I think this is wrong thing to do, but it is a fact.

@CanuckSteve1VP @cgy_guy @coreyhoganyyc ? I don’t agree with selling it below market. I’m making the point that if you increase supply, by letting Alberta drill and sell to the world, the price comes down. Decrease supply, by limiting drilling, and prices go up.

I would say the main difference was nationalism. Communism wanted to abolish borders and spread world wide - this is the main difference between communism and fascism. Key soviet rulers were not russian. Stalin was Georgian, Khruschev was ukrainian. Modern russia is nationalistic, while it may have ambitions to take back land that was historically russian, but they have no appetite to occupy lands of other nations, such as western baltics, poland or central and southern Georgia.
