A stumble in a crowded final water jump took @IsaacUpdike out of the hunt for the final qualifying spots for the #WABudapest23 men’s steeplechase final. NBC reported that Updike and Team USA are intending to file a protest.

Well, Ketchikan's @IsaacUpdike, after racing 1,500 meters tonight, just helped rabbit the 10,000-meter field for the opening 2 miles at the Trials of Miles in Austin, Texas. Damn, that's an honest night's work. Just FYI, Updike's primary event has been the steeplechase.
