@crystarius @DeanGagaKennedy But the "Standard" being described ALREADY EXISTS. It's not a lower standard to emulate. Hell, emulation for that era is usually more stable than pc ports.
This entire thing hinges on you not understanding how good emulation is.
English

@IsaakFlygare @DeanGagaKennedy Ironically, it's *your* repeated statement that means very little, here. Anyone can technically do *anything* at any time free of charge, sure. But people are specifically telling you they have a standard & they are willing to pay to get it done right. Should be pretty clean cut.
English

I would crucify somebody to have this game be released on Gog or Steam.
Memory Card@MemoryCardFiles
Haunting Ground | PlayStation 2 - 2005
English

@Petalderoserose @crystarius @DeanGagaKennedy Is the only way to garner a wider audience to resell the game on PC when it is already perfectly available on PC?
It had its time. It was fantastic. Sure, more people should play older games in general, but they already can. It's as available as it will ever be.
English

@IsaakFlygare @crystarius @DeanGagaKennedy Except you don't understand anything 🤷. This game deserves a wider audience, and what better way to propel it further 🤷. Steam, ps plus premium, remaster, In short. For me, this game is a gem, because its gameplay was unique and so was its atmosphere 👀.
English

@SkandiTV @ingueferroque @DeanGagaKennedy Why would you want that? Haunting Grounds is a perfectly good, self contained story. It begins and concludes. No lose threads.
Another game in the style of Haunting Grounds would be cool, but with the success of modern over the shoulders remakes, i doubt we'd ever see that.
English

@IsaakFlygare @ingueferroque @DeanGagaKennedy Much of Haunting Ground staff is still at Capcom, you could easily have them work on a remaster to gauge interest in the IP again to see if they could maybe revive the series like they're doing with Onimusha and Okami again right now
English

@ingueferroque @DeanGagaKennedy It's a game that they already made their money on. Most people who worked on it won't see a cent of the income of a modern port. It's a pointless investment on both your end and on Capcom's.
Let the game be in the past and emulate it.
English

@IsaakFlygare @DeanGagaKennedy Because I want to pay them money for an official release/remaster.
English

@crystarius @DeanGagaKennedy That's a lot of words that mean very little in reality. It's already safe, with ease of access. The issues that exist are those that always existed. It's not a buggy game.
You can just play it. Right now. Free of charge and easy to obtain.
English

@IsaakFlygare @DeanGagaKennedy Having it officially released as part of a well-backed preservation project like GOG has a lot of benefits, especially regarding security, support, ease of access, maintaining consistent standard of information (features, sys requirements, issues, etc.).
English

@HeadBarbInChrge Would you include the Sapmi in that category?
English

@IsaakFlygare Swedish is an ethnicity. Do you know what that word means?
English

@IsaakFlygare @JaytMusiq @katherinejaayne Yes it does. You are able to tell Scandinavian ancestry from a dna test.
English

@SchetzRivera @DeanGagaKennedy Because you can already play it on PC right now. It's already a thing you can do in literal minutes. Why spend money and work hours on a PC port of a game that is already fully playable on PC?
English

@JaytMusiq @katherinejaayne Swedish is a racial Scandinavian ethnicity. Anyone with a passport is “Swedish” but doesn’t mean they’re ethnically Swedish.
English

@SmasherIsEma Gotta start normalizing not only toupés and wigs for dudes who want them, but also that it's okay to grow thin haired and bald. Happens to most dudes eventually anyway.
English

Miserable twitter mfs just hatin for no reason he looks ok in the end bruh
Steeler4ever@steeler4ever79
Bro. Just shave your head. Toupee’ look absolutely ridiculous.
English

@jcrjohnson @AngletonOrchids What do you think foreign means? From a different country but only if that country is predominantly brown? Oh wait! Elon fits that description too. You have rocks in your brain.
English

@IsaakFlygare Det är du inte tillräckligt intelligent för att kunna avgöra.

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick The incredibly literal reading of the bible that you're doing, with no account of historical inaccuracies is a very American way to read it. Most Christians do not read the bible in this way. Even the Catholic Church would not agree with you stance on the Bible's flawlessness.
English

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick [...] at the very least, he fell headlong. Even in greek. Not how one would generally fall if the noose broke.
My point is that the harmonization between Luke and Matthew is far from flawless. Especially since there, again, is no implications of the recounts being incomplete.
English

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick It is fine for there to be contradictions. They are, after all, texts written by evangelists and apostles mainly. No divine power. These are recounts of holy events. They do not have to be flawless. Few Christians believe them to be, and that's okay.
English

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick Even if we take the harominzation of Luke and Matthew at face value, which i don't see why we would, then we're still left with the question of the 30 pieces of silver.
Either luke or Matthew must be incorrect. Historical praxis leads most people to lead towards Luke being wrong
English

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick The argument you're landing on here is "it can't possibly be a contradiction because there wouldn't possibly be any contradictions in a book as widely believed in and studied as the bible".
But that shields you not only from the issue of Judas, but ANY perceived contradictions.
English

@zephyr_wild @MucusMucous1 @Smultronnos @oliverburdick Well, people have tried to correct it though, through the idea of acts and matthew harmonizing like you're doing.
I was raised with a Christian mother who works in the church.I talked about this with her. Her statement was that "they contradict".
