חוק עונש מוות הוא לא סיבה לחגיגה. מדובר בחוק מטומטם ומפלה, שלא יחול בכלל על הנוח'בות ושאר המחבלים בעזה. הוא מנוסח בצורה כל כך עקומה וקיצונית, כאילו בכוונה כדי שבג"צ יפסול אותו. ואז - תושג המטרה העיקרית: חברי ממשלת ה-7.10 יוכלו לטעון: "שופטי בג"צ תומכים במחבלים!!!" הכל, כי בן גביר רוצה שנדבר על זה במקום על שיאי הנרצחים שנשברו בקדנציה הכושלת שלו. ונתניהו מיישר קו כדי לשרוד עוד כמה חודשים בשלטון, בידיעה שהחוק המעוות הזה ייפסל גם ככה בבג"צ... עלובים.

The scary thing about the death penalty is how easy it is to wrongfully convict someone and then send an innocent person to their death. I am against Ben Gvir, and I am against this law. It will be used to kill innocent individuals.

ישראל לא תהיה כהנאסטן. בכוונתי לעתור בימים הקרובים לבג״ץ יחד עם מכון זולת וקול רבני לזכויות אדם נגד חוק עונש מוות - חוק לא מוסרי, שסותר את ערכי היסוד של מדינת ישראל. כל יום שהחוק הזה ישאר בספק החוקים של מדינת ישראל הוא כתם על דמותנו ועל ערכינו. לא נשלים עם זה.

Made Matzah ball soup tonight, the way my mother did. Stuffed the matzah balls with roast chicken and spinach. It was a lot of work only to find out that the matzah meal wasn't kosher for Pesach!! Grrrr. The taste and texture is perfect. Manischweitz let me down.
