So taxpayers must justify every foreign trip with documents, bank statements, PAN details, invitations, and even who travelled with them. And let me be clear, I am not saying the Income Tax Department shouldn’t send such notices. But why can’t they show the same interest and enthusiasm when it comes to corporate cronies and loan defaulters? Why is this level of scrutiny never applied to: Hindenburg allegations on a major corporate, PM CARES Fund transparency, Repeated allegations on corporate capitalists, Scams by politicians, Massive tax evasion by corporates & leaders, Loan write-offs and fugitives escaping the country? This is what our governments choose to do to honest taxpayers. Delhi’s AQI during winter is undoubtedly a concern but it is also a fact that this year’s air quality has been significantly better than the last 10 years. The primary reason: farm fires across North India have reduced after the Centre’s decisive intervention. Yet, AAP-ruled Punjab remains the biggest offender. What’s interesting is this: For the last decade, Delhi had an Urban Naxal as Chief Minister, and despite the city choking year after year, there were no major protests demanding cleaner air. But the moment BJP swept to power in Delhi, suddenly we have “activists” staging protests in the name of pollution — protests that are clearly motivated by a regressive Communist agenda, not environmental concern. And the faces are familiar: the same delinquent student activists from Left-aligned unions of JNU. Today again, these loonies were out on the streets, pretending to cry over air quality while brazenly carrying placards and shouting slogans glorifying dead Naxalite Hidma Madvi. Worse, these protestors used chilli spray on police personnel who were simply doing their duty. When the law takes its own course, the same loony Left will scream “repression” and organise another protest to shield these budding Urban Naxals. 31 March 2026 marks the end of Naxals. After that, India must focus on wiping out Urban Naxals who hide behind activism and disrupt the nation from within.
