SubhanAllah. As a mother of two yourself, your concern for people’s concentration in prayer comes from a good place. However, we should be careful not to push mothers away from the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ used to pray while carrying his granddaughter Umamah, and he lengthened the prayer when he heard a baby cry so the mother wouldn’t feel distressed. He never told mothers to stay home. Mosques are the houses of Allah and should remain welcoming to families. Yes, it can be distracting at times, but that distraction is also a test of our own patience and a chance to earn reward. Instead of asking mothers to stop coming, perhaps we can support them: create a family section, have volunteers help with children, or show more understanding and dua for the mothers. May Allah accept our prayers and make our mosques places of mercy for everyone, young and old. Ameen. 🤲

I was at the Abuja National Mosque for Maghrib prayer today, and a baby started crying even before the prayer began. The crying continued throughout the entire prayer until we finished. Honestly, mothers with young children should reconsider bringing them to the mosque if they know the child is likely to cry a lot, because it can be very distracting for other people trying to concentrate in prayer. Since going to the mosque is not compulsory for women. Before you call me names, I’m a mother of 2, so I know what being a mother is.

کیا آپ جانتے ہیں ذوالقعدہ کا اصل مطلب کیا ہے؟ 😲 “بیٹھنے کی جگہ کا مالک” ….. ذُو الْقَعْدَة! قدیم عرب کے nomadic قبائل اس مہینے میں جنگ، لڑائی اور سفر سب روک دیتے۔ سب “بیٹھ جاتے” تھے… امن اور حرمت کے لیے! یہ اسلامی کیلنڈر کا 11واں مہینہ ہے ,چار حرمت والے مہینوں میں سے ایک، جہاں لڑنا حرام ہے۔ اور سب سے خوبصورت بات !! یہ حج کی تیاری کا مہینہ ہے! اگلے مہینے ذوالحجہ میں لاکھوں مسلمان اللہ کے گھر جا رہے ہیں۔ آج 28/29 ذوالقعدہ 1447 ہے… حج صرف 2 دن بعد شروع ہونے والا ہے! 🕋 تو بھائیو بہنو… اس مقدس مہینے میں ہم بھی تھوڑا “بیٹھ جائیں”؟ دنیا کی دوڑ سے رک جائیں، دل صاف کریں، توبہ کریں، ذکر کریں اور حج کی نیت سے اللہ کی طرف رجوع کریں۔ ذوالقعدہ مبارک 🌙 اللہ ہمیں حج مبرور نصیب فرمائے، ہماری دعائیں قبول فرمائے اور غزہ سمیت تمام مظلوموں کی فتح عطا فرمائے۔ آمین یا رب العالمین 🤲❤️

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
