@AMozgus @PxlKaii Did you even read what they’re trying to do? This isn’t just a content update theyre changing major systems. That requires data from us playing for the first few months you can’t just add shit otherwise you would still find a way to complain. Also it’s $40 Its gonna be alright.

@PxlKaii We should have seen this coming, it took them 10 years to come up with this version of the game 🤷🏽‍♂️ and yet we were pressuring them to come up with updates every month. After 6 months we got a lame update and in October we will get another lame update 💯

Ngl I was gonna reply to a lot of the people who post about Embark making the wrong decision about doing 2 big updates a year; but I’m wasting my breath. They had ARC Raiders in the backend for years, and then gave it to us. If anyone knows what they need to do it’s THEM. 🤫

@nickjcal It's not unrealistic, they made hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. They just don't want to commit to expanding the studio and making the live service game they said they would. I bet you the main dev team is already working on their next IP

I don't think anyone wants to hear it, but this is the right call. The expectation that a big new map or some huge gameplay change is going to come every 2 months or whatever is completely unrealistic and puts way too much pressure on studios. arcraiders.com/news/developme…

@cjroper1973 @PorkPoncho That’s just how it is with live service games. Bought POE2, played 1 season, a lot of fun but thinking about playing it again makes me sick to my stomach. You had fun that’s all that matters.

@PorkPoncho Like many people I put 200 hours in but probably won't go back. Updates add breadth but little in the way of depth.

I loved the time I put into Arc but I’ve said before it feels like a social toy of more than a true extraction shooter (and that’s awesome). But for it to be a successful social toy box you need to keep providing new toys for people to play with. This feels like a huge mistake. Every 3 months feels like a sweet spot compared to monthly.

@Terra6216z @PxlKaii You know you don’t have to play until the update right like you can go outside with your friends and play something else. They’re trying to address major issues with replay ability and that’s gonna take some time to nail. But if the update is lackluster im done with embark

@ArcRaidersInfo I will check back in every other week. And then go all out playing full time in october. People genuinely are taking this game for granted, and they've never played any other shitty extraction shooter and it shows. Arc raiders is still the best in the subgenre
