🚨 Earlier this year, Florida gubernatorial candidate, James Fishback, proposed a 50% “sin tax” on income earned by Florida-based OnlyF*ns creators. Supporters say it discourages p*rnographic content. Opponents say it punishes online "sex workers." Should it happen?

@gothcucumb3r @JakeSherman You make a good point that ICE agents are raping people in the street. I am definitely opposed to that and have asked them to stop on multiple occasions. But they keep raping. Not okay.

NEWS -- WHITE HOUSE has sent a letter to the Hill with changes they are willing to make to DHS to re-open the agency. This is quite the distance from what Democrats want. But there's been a frustration that the Hill has no idea what's going on. And the admin thinks that this could be enticing to some Dems. pbwl.news/94fc98 (yes, text subscribers got it first)

I am a comedian at heart and the Drag scene is filled with some of the funniest people I’ve ever met. I cackled a few times watching this episode, I absolutely adore the energy of drag x Magic and I can’t wait to see more Spell Slayer episodes!

The first episode of Spell Slayers is such a blast! The queens are some of the funniest people ever and they got @gavinverhey in drag?? How can you you miss? You gotta watch it right now: youtu.be/IqmmTnwdLVI?si…

@MattWalshBlog Haven't we already surrendered our society to soulless algorithms? AI is just a more advanced algorithm.

A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of AI, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It’s pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about AI (especially AI in creative fields) is that it isn’t human, it doesn’t have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It’s very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it.

@TheEcho13 Even a good husband is not going to lead with character, competence, and consistency always. A good wife will still do her part (in this case "obaying") even when her good husband is failing. Just like a good husband should still do his part even when his good wife is failing.

‘Obey her husband’ isn’t just a preference. It’s a power fantasy. If a man needs obedience to feel like a man, he’s telling you he can’t lead through character, consistency, or competence. He needs the rule. Women aren’t ‘too modern’ for refusing that, they’re just not coddling a weak man’s ego.

@MattWalshBlog It’s not the factory settings, because the Aliens at Pizza Planet were alive but they were just squeeze toys. I think the person/people who designed them gave them all life in the same way children do, but didn’t put much thought into a personality. It’s why they all act the same

Watching Toy Story 3 with my kids. In the landfill, the toys are apparently the only conscious beings amid all the random plastic objects. And yet in the fourth installment we’re introduced to a self-aware spork that Bonnie, a young child, has named Forky. This suggests that consciousness in the Toy Story universe is imbued into objects only once they are named and loved by a human being. This would explain why the toys in Sid’s room in the first film apparently have a more rudimentary and savage form of consciousness, reflecting the conscious state of the child who owns them. I need to develop this theory more. I’ll let you know what I come up with.

@MattWalshShow None of this omits and answers the many inconsistencies that have been brought up and continue to be brought up. This, at this point, seems like more paid support. Sorry.

The sense I get from watching my first ever hockey game is that the championship games are incredibly exciting in a way that Super Bowls often aren’t, but some random regular season hockey game would be excruciatingly boring in a way that random regular season football games rarely are. True or false?

I don't understand how anyone can be impressed by this. Okay, wow, an algorithm spit out some images that look kind of real. Okay cool. The fundamental problem with AI content -- and why I will never be interested in an AI movie, no matter how realistic it looks -- is that I just have no interest in the stories that an algorithm tells. I don't want to watch an AI story any more than I want to sit around and listen to ChatGPT tell me about its hopes and dreams. If the story has no soul then it lacks the one and only thing that can make it worthwhile or interesting.

@esjesjesj Because there's no controversy. Every right winger agrees he should be fully prosecuted. Now if the left argued he should be let out, then you would hear from the right.
