This will never happen but John Tavares is an ideal fit for #Isles THIS year. Very cheap contract. Scored 38 last season. 2C and PP enhancer. A place hes played before. Cost minimal. Biggest hold up is that he does have a NMC and he appears to be enjoying the #Leafs toiling away.

@WillPesek_ We know he’s not a great skater but goes to the front of the net like no one else on our team. Not only scored the tying goal but Schaffer’s 2nd goal was a result of 27’s traffic in front.

Anders Lee is a corpse now. Why would you extend him? He does nothing well anymore. The #Isles are better with speed and playmaking ability. Lee has none of that anymore (debatable if he even had that) Im thankful for his time here especially after 91 but im good. See ya 27.

My thoughts on PhoneCallGate: - Don’t really have a problem with the United States hockey team calling the United President after winning Gold. - Have a problem with them letting that squid Kash Patel in instead of like Guy Gaudreau - Trump Women’s Hockey team joke was dumb and pretty sexist, but yea the dude is a well documented sexist (among other things). - Players should not have laughed at it, but also they’re on Cloud 9 after winning gold. Don’t think that action makes them all sexists. However, men’s hockey culture still needs some big improvements. - Women’s Hockey rocks and is at an undeniable all time high. - Matthew Schaefer’s 7x10.5M extension gets voided if Kash Patel ever goes near him.
