CYCLEWAY 1 BRIDGE CLOSURE 🧵: On 19 December, @networkrail closed Kingsbury Bridge at very short notice. An essential part of Cycleway 1 - one of the most popular routes in the capital. The diversion is unacceptable and we are working with @hackney_cycling to address this. 1/14

Happy birthday to Eileen Sheridan, who is 99 today. Joining Coventry Cycling Club in 1944, Eileen went on to break just about every distance record there is, including setting the new London-Edinburgh record of 20h 11m 35s. The time was set in 1954 and is yet to be broken.
