This thread - along with many of the frankly deranged replies to it - is yet another reason why I am seriously considering abandoning twitter altogether. It's just beyond depressing.

I haven't been on this platform for 18 months (I saw its direction of travel) & I've no intention of coming back but I want to express my relief that after 14 years the British people have (finally) had enough of the most incompetent, uncaring corrupt government in my lifetime.
