It is unacceptable for Starmer repeatedly to fail to answer Badenoch’s question about whether he had spoken to Mandelson before appointing him as Ambassador to the United States. Prime Minister’s Questions is about accountability and is an important feature of our democracy. It should be taken seriously by all PMs.
