Today ,February 13th.
I was detained and beaten violently by an Israeli soldier in Hebron. I was showing the famous American writer lawrence wright @NewYorker @lawrence_wright the Israeli occupation and apartheid in my home town #Hebron.

Today, Saturday, Israeli occupation forces are restricting Palestinian worshippers and visitors from accessing the Ibrahimi Mosque, while simultaneously facilitating and encouraging settlers’ entry under military protection. This discriminatory policy highlights the unequal treatment imposed on Palestinians and Israeli settlers at one of the holiest sites in Hebron.

When this happens to a member of the US Congress, you can imagine what happens to Palestinians.

Israeli settlers, brandishing American made M4s, detained me & other Americans on my trip to Palestine. When the IDF arrived, they sided with the settlers & continued our detention. They made a huge mistake. You will be hearing more soon. nytimes.com/2026/07/11/us/…

Today, an Israeli soldier arbitrarily closed the checkpoint, preventing Palestinians from reaching their homes. Teachers, workers, students, were all blocked from moving freely.
These restrictions are part of a system of military occupation and apartheid that makes daily life unbearable and pressures Palestinians to leave their homes for the benefit of expanding settlements.

The extensive killing of Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank is not a series of isolated incidents. It is a practice backed by every arm of the Israeli regime.
From 7 October 2023 to 29 June 2026, Israel killed 1,087 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 242 children and teenagers.
In 2025 alone, 54 minors were killed. Our new report, “Unshielded Childhood,” tells their stories.
The Israeli legal system helps whitewash these killings, grants impunity to the perpetrators, and shirks its duty to demand accountability from those responsible. The Israeli public remains largely indifferent, while some segments openly support the violence.
To legitimize this routine killing in the eyes of the Israeli public and the world, Israel systematically dehumanizes Palestinians. When the military almost automatically labels Palestinian children and teenagers who posed no threat as “terrorists” or “involved in terrorism,” it creates a reality in which their lives are treated as entirely disposable and harming them is seen as legitimate and permissible.
While the world looks away and grants Israel international impunity, the reality on the ground is clear: under the Israeli regime, no Palestinian is protected, and any Israeli who harms them enjoys full impunity.

New “Blue Roads” have appeared in Hebron, near my home, marked as open exclusively to Israelis. Restricting access to roads based on national identity is segregation, not security. Hebron continues to serve as a laboratory of separation, and unequal rights.

It is APARTHEID.
In the OCCUPIED West Bank, Israel applies literally two legal systems: one for Israeli settlers and another for Palestinians. The settlers enjoy rights and freedoms, while millions of Palestinians live under a brutal Israeli military dictatorship.
Furthermore, Israel’s own human rights organizations and Netanyahu's former Mossad chief said before the Oct 7 attack: Israel's illegal occupation of the West Bank is apartheid.
“There is an apartheid state here, in a territory where two people are judged under two legal systems, that is an APARTHEID state.

Route 60 is an artery of apartheid, built on stolen Pal. land. Rebranding it as “The Biblical Highway” is a transparent effort to whitewash systemic annexation. Occupation, apartheid, and illegal land confiscation cannot be made lawful through propaganda. #apartheid #Hebron

The recent call by Minister Smotrich to cancel the Hebron Protocol is deeply concerning. It risks increasing instability, encouraging further violations of international law, and moving toward permanent control of occupied land without equal rights for the Palestinian population.
I address these concerns in my new video statement. Please watch and share.

Israel is running a network of torture camps for Palestinians. Our reports, Welcome to Hell and Living Hell, extensively documented a reality of extreme violence, starvation, and torture.
Palestinian prisoners are subjected to severe violence, deliberate humiliation, starvation, sleep deprivation, denial of medical care, and abuse in every facility where they are held.
These abusive practices are fully backed by the political leadership, which openly boasts about the harsh prison conditions. Some inmates are subjected to severe sexual assaults.
At least 89 Palestinians have died in Israeli detention facilities since October 2023 as a result of inhumane conditions, violence, starvation, and the denial of medical treatment.
Despite the extensive evidence, media investigations, and reports issued by Israeli and international organizations documenting torture in Israeli prisons, the international community continues to stand by and allow Israel to commit crimes against the Palestinian people.

“Today, the same settler who attacked my home by throwing stones six weeks ago returned and threatened to take over my house. He openly stated that the police had done nothing to hold him accountable and that the government was on his side. When perpetrators act with apparent impunity and victims are left without protection, it creates the perception of state-backed intimidation and terror against Palestinian communities.
