No, but I recorded this! Yes, I'd love to play in a VERY part time band. One song they played last night was, "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" by Night Ranger. I'm sending @jaystratton and @travisstaylor1 my audition tape. Ignore the hiccup halfway through. iPhone messed up and threw me off. And the music and drums could only be heard via the headphones. Cookie's hearing wasn't damaged.

@TrueGameData Worst COD BR we have ever had for the casual player. No fun landing, looting, then getting rinsed by sweats in the first engagement. Bring back Casual game mode and Verdansk or (outside of streamers / sweats) your game is dead.

@HellPockets @StutheAnnouncer E3 was always more interesting on the technical level. Back when they actively showcased new technologies. Now all thats gone in favor of wack trailers to slowed down versions of once popular songs. We were definitely heading this way regardless.

@StutheAnnouncer And it put the entire consumer-base on a crash course with the inevitable overpriced trailer spot showcasing some really hackneyed AI generated cinematics and MAYBE gameplay. I dunno if E3 surviving would have gotten us there quicker but there we will be all the same.

@bbreadman I also think they should lean into classes harder for redsec. There is incredible potential there that could really make the game distinctive from other brs as well as more interactive play. Choosable perks inside classes, more gadgets, etc.

I have really enjoyed playing REDSEC, but there are some key features missing that are SUPER important to it's growth in/out of game. In my opinion, the below additions to the game are NECESSARY in order for REDSEC to survive longterm in today's market: 1. Prox Chat🎙️ This feature should've come out on release for the BR, and it's (in my opinion) one of the most needed timely additions. The ability to speak to your enemies whether to bash them or gas them is KEY right now (as seen by Arc Raiders). Not to mention the clips, funny moments, meeting new people, etc.. this would lead to, it'd be hard to see this as anything but a good addition to the game. 2. Solos 1⃣ Want to guess what's even harder than getting a win in Battlefield? Finding a random teammate with a Mic😂 It really is laughable, but couple this with your randoms just leaving mid game, and it becomes increasingly hard to even just play the game if you don't have friends online. Solos is the key to fixing this. Allowing players to play by themselves + meet new people in Prox Chat will lead to more people opting to play Solos while they wait for their friends to hop on instead of just not getting on at all. 3. Leaderboards🪜 It's super unfortunate that throughout launch until now there isn't a way to track your wins/kills/stats in REDSEC (other than going to external websites). Being able to simply pull the menu up and check your progress, show your friends, and just simply count your wins against other players would be great. Separately, a top leaderboard for worldwide Kills/Wins (in each mode)/KD/etc.. would encourage playtime beyond that of the environment we're in now. Now more than ever is a good time to implement this feature, and it's important to note it's not a lost cause. Better late than never IMO. 4. Consistent Tournaments💰 I know that REDSEC just came out, but now more than ever is the best time to ride that hype and allow creators/communities a way to bond with the game and it's competitive environment. There isn't a single BR out today that doesn't have a comp scene (whether big or small), and tournaments don't need to be even in the thousands to gather competitors to play. 5. Ranked🥇 In my opinion, putting emphasis into the core modes (solos, duos, trios?, quads) and then providing a good Ranked Quads mode on REDSEC would be VERY beneficial for player/streamer retention. There isn't a single Battle Royale out right now that doesn't have a ranked experience, and for good reason. This would provide hundreds of hours of content EACH Season, giving the other modes space and a clear separation between people who want to play and chill in pubs/ grinders in ranked. 6. Roadmaps for Limited Time Modes🕐 Lastly, the last feature I'll hit on is LTMs. These are great ways in order to bring players back to the game after they've had a break. Throw in a limited "Tank Royale" mode that let's everyone have a tank and see who wins, maybe a mode with 200 players instead of 100, a mode where people have less health like a hardcore REDSEC, the list is endless (especially with Portal). Having these rotate in and out create a need to play them while they're available, and could potentially lead to finding a mode even more popular than the CORE modes. Of course, there are things that need to be fixed like Footstep audio, Net Code/hit reg problems on specific servers, phasing through buildings, etc.. but those are all going to happen at some point, hopefully in the near future. A few of these additions from my 1-6 list above may happen soon, but I believe it's an incredibly timely manner that these things get added FAST. All I want to do is see Battle Royale as a whole do good, and that includes all games. What do you think Battlefield should add to keep REDSEC alive and thriving? What are your problems with the game?

The more and more I play BF6 RedSec, the more I see it's major shortcomings and although it's a decent first attempt, it is going up against an opponent that's been around 5 years: 1. Physics bugs: In RedSec, you fall through destroyed houses and can run in and out of them. You can also hit certain objects and launch yourself into the air at high speed. The physics engine needs a rework. 2. Anti-recoil/Dispersion: Let's be real, this feels awful in BR. As others have already highlighted, the dispersion coupled with the recoil mechanics on mnk where it fights you is just broken. Gunplay just doesn't feel good in this game at the moment. 3. UI: Simply awful. Hulu wants their UI back. The menu system is also very convoluted. Needs a search option badly. 4. Movement: Still too slow, needs a 25-30% boost, especially for RedSec. 5. Plating: Needs to be faster in BR, it's still too slow, especially for non-assault classes. Give it a 25% boost for all classes and an even bigger boost for assault so it's worth playing. 6. Vaulting: Sometimes, when you're trying to jump on top of something like an edge of a rooftop, it will end up vaulting instead and toss you over the ledge. 7. Collsion system: There's things like awnings in the game that you want to jump on to get to a higher rooftop but instead you simply fall through them as if they don't even exist. I guess this goes back to the physics system but in conjuction with collision, it's even more goofy. 8. Ammo count bug in BR: Have run into an issue several times where the ammo count shows 100+ availalbe yet when you fire, the gun says empty and it won't let you reload. 9. Tanks: Remove them from end game in BR and have less of them availble in general. Make them super hard to get. 10. Ground loot: There simply isn't enough loot, especially plates! There needs to be significantly more loot boxes scattered throughout the map. Maybe even have them refresh after a short while. 11. ROTATIONAL AIM ASSIST DOES NOT BELONG IN ANY VIDEO GAME! I know DICE devs have said they plan to remove it and add in the beta verison they had, let's see how that fares. 12. Hitreg/netcode: Its awful. Many instances of being around corners and dying and what's worse, I can unload a mag into a guy point blank and get zero hit registrations. This needs to be fixed ASAP. 13. Audio: Last but ceretainly not least, there's been SO MANY TIMES I've been pushed up on and had ZERO footstep sounds! In fact, I could hear my teammates running around far more than I can the enemy. Why is it so many BRs have trouble with footsteps? A relatively unknown Chinese BR called FARLIGHT 84 managed to do footstep sounds better than any Western made BR, what's up with that? Do programmers in the West not know how to program audio engines? There's other bugs/issues I've noticed but forgot so I'll write them down next time. Good start for version 1.0 but there's a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully you guys knock it out fast. @tiggr_ @DRUNKKZ3 @Battlefield
