Minister @Antonio_Tajani on today’s @G7 Statement to support partners in the Middle East 🗣️: “In the face of Iran’s unacceptable attacks in the Middle East, the G7 has responded with unity and determination, with a statement of strong support for the countries in the region. We call on the Iranian regime to immediately and unconditionally cease its attacks, and we firmly reiterate the importance of ensuring the security of navigation, including in the Strait of Hormuz. The G7 stands united in supporting the right of states affected by unjustified attacks—by Iran or its allies—to defend their sovereignty and protect their citizens. We also strongly condemn the serious attacks carried out in Iraq”.

Di fronte agli inaccettabili attacchi dell’Iran in #MedioOriente, il @G7 ha risposto con unità e determinazione, sottoscrivendo una dichiarazione di forte sostegno ai Paesi della regione. Chiediamo al regime iraniano la cessazione immediata e incondizionata degli attacchi e ribadiamo con fermezza l’importanza di garantire la sicurezza della navigazione, incluso nello Stretto di Hormuz. Il G7 è compatto nel sostenere il diritto degli Stati colpiti da attacchi ingiustificati, da parte dell’Iran o dei suoi alleati, a difendere la propria sovranità e a proteggere i propri cittadini. Condanniamo con la massima fermezza anche i gravi attacchi perpetrati in Iraq.
