@fantasyfooty Funny that. All 3 of those clubs needed new managers after sacking theirs this season and not one of them come knocking for Howe. Makes you think
English

I’d back Eddie Howe to the hilt next season.
I love that he stuck to his guns and doesn’t listen to the loud imbeciles on X who think they know more than him.
If Howe left he’d walk into a bigger job than Newcastle. Chelsea, Man Utd & Spurs would take him in a heartbeat.
Clearly we’ve panick bought two strikers who don’t fit his system after Isak spat his dummy out - it’s affected us way more than we’d like to admit.
A big summer awaits - I trust Howe with it. #nufc
English

@DomScurr The fact we are all these years into the PiF era, and we’re setting our goal as “avoid relegation” for next season, before we’ve even finished this one, is an absolute farce. Get them fucking gone if that’s the ambition. It’s literally no better than Mike Ashley.
English

@Nigel_Farage Thought you reformers would struggle with this. Not shocked. They want to legalise AND REGULATE, and a good example of that is, we shouldn’t allow MPs to drink alcohol on the job, you know, in case they vote us into war or something while hammered. Bus drivers can’t drink at work
English

@jordancronin_ Dan Burn has literally let us down lots of times in that position. Teams quite often made it their game plan to attack that side when he played because he was that bad at it… this cunt needs to get out of this club now and stop taking the fans for idiots.
English

Eddie Howe on why he benched Lewis Hall:
"It's always a difficult decision because Lewis is an outstanding player and you never for any second doubt his qualities and what he can bring to the team, but I felt today for a number of reasons that Dan was the right pick in terms of height and physicality and dealing with Arsenal's threats.
"Dan's never let us down in that position. He plays it very differently to Lewis. But I thought that was the right call for this game."

English

@Stephenlovelif1 @ToonFan14 “Howe should step down”. He should have been sacked losing to the Mackems. It’s unforgivable to lose to them home and away In their first season back and we’ve been telling ourselves we’re a top European club 🤣🤣 the reason we’re so bad is because we have fans that accept it….
English

@ItsBazerker @ToonFan14 When you're rock bottom on confidence you have to start somewhere. Where not getting relegated . I think Howe should step down at the end of the season.
English

Are people genuinely still cool with this? Not a criticism. Just genuinely interested. #NUFC
English

@Stephenlovelif1 @ToonFan14 That’s the problem. We should never be “rock bottom on confidence”. He’s spent nearly a billion quid and had European football twice, we should be nowhere near a relegation fight, but we are. It’s genuinely worse than Bruce because he didn’t have the financial backing.
English

@lee_ryder Tell the cunt we’ve had enough of him. Get out now Eddie.
English

Baffling Nick Woltemade call hurts Newcastle as dropped Lewis Hall's expression says it all #nufc #arsenal
chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football…
English

@SkySportsNews It’s quite literally a lack of effort Eddie. Get out of this club now
English

@Stephenlovelif1 @ToonFan14 We need points. Can perform like the fucking nutcracker ballet but if we don’t stick the ball in the net and win some fucking points it’s literally worth nothing. Stop glazing over the enormous problems in the name of forced (and fake) positivity
English

@ToonFan14 Yeah not good enough
Better tonight Bruno makes a massive difference
Woltemade has to play
Burn is not a left back
English

@LukeEdwardsTele You don’t deserve anything if you don’t stick the ball in the net Luke. That’s how football works mate.
English

An improved performance from Newcastle who deserved something from the game. Two big, big chances missed by Osula in the first half and late in the second by Wissa.
But ultimately it’s another defeat and that will not do anything to calm things down. Pressure builds and in form Brighton up next #nufc
English

@tfalex1892 We’ve asked the same questions every week since West Ham away in November. Blows my mind that there’s still people who can’t see it, this much later
English

Agree that there team is full of cowards. But what’s the plan? Why don’t we press teams even at home? Why do opponents have recognisable patters of play and we none?
Why can’t we take a set piece? How will any of the above change with mostly the same players next season?
Luke Edwards@LukeEdwardsTele
Newcastle’s season is over and all that is left is to search through the wreckage for survivors. The manager will take the blame but I hope he survives. He deserve to but there were several players out there today who should hang their heads in shame. Some are cowards, some aren’t good enough and others clearly don’t want to be there anymore #nufc
English

@Largefatman1 @PWerdek @THemingford Not necessarily. Bad parents will likely be bad parents anyway. If they neglect their kids with this in place, they will neglect them without it. They don’t need encouragement. The main point is that it’s not the kids fault, and they shouldn’t suffer further when society can help
English

@ItsBazerker @PWerdek @THemingford I’d argue this encourages poor and neglectful parenting as it allows a get out of jail card for a lack of responsibility
English

It is shocking and horrifying that some people oppose something as simple as feeding children. Whatever your politics, making sure kids aren't starting the day hungry shouldn't even be up for debate.
Julia Hartley-Brewer@JuliaHB1
The breakfasts are not free. They are paid for by taxes - mostly on parents who feed their own kids. Most of these 10,000 children would have had a perfectly healthy breakfast at home without these clubs. This isn't about helping the poorest kids, it's the state taking over the basic job of parenting.
English

@Largefatman1 @PWerdek @THemingford You’re right, but it will stop them having an additional problem (starving) on top of all that. As I said, acknowledging one doesn’t make the other disappear, but the one we can control right now is the kid getting fed.
English

@ItsBazerker @PWerdek @THemingford Neither does fixing one part. If a child is neglected by their parents, giving them a slice of toast won’t make their home life any better
English

@PWerdek @THemingford Okay, there’s a wider issue, does that mean we don’t feed the kids? Acknowledging one part of the problem doesn’t mean the other ceases to exist. The one thing we can control is whether that kid is fed….
English

@THemingford Then clearly there is a wider issue involving some parents
