HK shits on Singapore and it’s not even close
shame that China has been slowly encroaching & is likely going to take it over
In SG feel like im in the Truman show

META ads died off in 2021 and i’m tired of pretending it didn’t
you heard me right mf
if you don’t agree you’re just too brainwashed to see it
here's the catastrophic downfall of FB ads:
the tracking apocalypse:
ios 14 killed facebook
everyone knows it
few will admit it
before ios 14 (pre-2021):
- perfect tracking
- attribution works
- know exactly what's working
- 8x roas common
after ios 14 (2021-now):
- tracking destroyed
- modeled attribution (guessing)
- no idea what works
- 2x roas is good now
“what are some alternatives then?”
google mf
fucking google
:
- tracking still works
- first-party data
- actual attribution
- 6-8x roas standard
but let’s compare the 2:
the intent gap:
facebook user:
scrolling memes
not shopping
interrupted by ad
doens’t fucking care
just wants to be entertained
google user:
actively searching
ready to buy
sees your ad
high intent
he’s in purchasing mode
which converts better?
the platform stability:
facebook timeline:
2021: ios 14 hits - tracking dies
2022: cpms double - everyone competing
2023: ai slop takes over feed
2024: dead platform, nobody admits it
google timeline:
2021: same as always
2022: same as always
2023: same as always
2024: same as always
stable over chaos
the ban risk:
meta bans:
- random
- no warning
- no explanation
- no appeal
- start over
google bans:
- clear violations only
- warnings first
- explanation given
- appeal process works
- rarely happens
meta-reliant business = house of cards
google-reliant business = strong foundation
there’s no comparison
the future:
facebook trajectory:
- ios tracking getting worse
- tiktok stealing users
- ai content flooding
- gen z doesn't use it
- dying unc platform
google trajectory:
- search intent unchanged
- people still need to find things
- ai makes search more important
- every generation uses it
- stable platform
the cope:
facebook advertisers:
"you just need to adapt"
"broad match works"
"just scale"
translation:
"i'm losing money but won't admit it"
google advertisers:
"it just keeps on working"
"consistent results"
"scale reliably"
translation:
"i'm making money"
but here’s the nuance:
meta will allow you to test faster
and it has a bigger scale potential
depending on niche it might be the go-to
but google is more reliable
and scales more consistently
ideally you want to do both
meta attracts
google converts
meta is TOF
google is MOF
meta burns money
google makes money
but if i was going with just 1
i’d 100% go with google
because overall:
it’s STILL better
that’s the truth mf
now deal with it

🧵 AppLovin is now open to ALL DTC brands.
If you're spending $50K+/mo on Meta, you need to read this.
Here's why AppLovin is different (and why brands are seeing better ROI than Meta) 👇
What AppLovin actually is:
Full-screen video ads in mobile games. Not a feed. Not a search result. 100% of the user's attention for 35+ seconds minimum.
The targeting is AI-powered and actually works:
No demographic targeting. No interests. It predicts who will convert based on behavior patterns across millions of data points.
Sounds sketchy? It's not. Brands are seeing 2-4x ROAS consistently.
Attribution is cleaner than Meta:
Click-only. No view-through confusion. 80% of purchases happen within 24 hours. D0 and D7 reporting built in.
Real results we've seen:
- $1.2M in revenue in 6 weeks (beauty brand)
- Became #1 traffic source in <30 days (apparel)
- Outperformed Meta ROI in multiple tests (supplements)
Today it opened to everyone. Which means everyone will be promoting it.
Here's what we're giving to brands that use our code:
- Personal intro to top reps
- $5K ad credits
- Complete launch playbook
- Winning creative library
- Video strategy guides
Why use our code vs. someone else's?
We've already helped 20+ brands launch and scale. We know what works (and what doesn't).
We built the resources we wish existed when we started.
Comment "First" and I'll DM you a link to the complete resource guide shown below + a code to get $5K in ad credits with qualifying spend (must be following).
First-mover advantage is real here. Don't wait until Q4 when inventory gets expensive.
