A couple years ago, a homeless drug addict stabbed me in broad daylight completely unprovoked. When it happened, I posted about my experience publicly because honestly I felt abandoned. 911 literally left me on hold, and I never felt like LA leadership cared about victims like me at all. Other assault victims also shared with me that they felt unsupported and ignored. Spencer Pratt and his team actually reached out to hear my story, ask how they could help, and talk about what was happening in LA. People can say whatever they want politically, but I remember who showed compassion to assault victims and who didn’t.
