This morning, I sleep feeling deeply disappointed by the results announced in Mbeere North as an incoming Senator in Embu County come 2027. Although the outcome feels rigged, it has highlighted an issue we cannot ignore. From what I observed, the presence of young people at the polling stations was noticeably low. This should concern us because if we, as the youth, do not take the initiative to register as voters and turn up to exercise our democratic rights, we are likely to face the same situation again in 2027. It is our responsibility to shape the future we want, and that begins with participating fully in the electoral process. Let this be a wake-up call for all of us to get involved, stay informed, and ensure our voices are counted. I sincerely thank all of you for your support and for staying up late to follow the updates I shared. Your commitment means a lot. God bless.
