@MarkSeddon1962 French Algeria (50s-60s) resembles this the closest. Death penalty practically and effectively for one group of the population - said group primarily tried in military court whilst others in civilian (different frameworks, sentencing etc). It draws many parallels.

@kid_twiglet @RichardBurgon Historical legal precedent in Israel/Palestine suggests the new law would effectively only apply to Palestinians in practice.
Israelis rarely convict Israeli terrorists under terrorism, usually murder. Even when the sitting Prime Minister says they were terrorists.
