Hello everyone! My oc art is finally done 🖤 Once a mortal girl who dedicated her life to protecting the forest. Now I am the forests will given shape. When the forest learned to watch and listen, it borrowed what it needed for a guardian. Elven ears to hear the leaves whispering warnings, feline eyes to see where threats move quietly, and moss that grows across her clothing because even the forest forgets she was ever separate from it. I am Fae, and if you’re a friend of the forest you’re a friend of mine. (Backstory might change, it’s being worked on with d&d friends 🖤)

Every time I say to myself "These people can't be this stupid..." I have to remind myself that yes, they can be. And then I get shown proof again and again! The people thinking that Sykkuno wrote the girlfriend response himself to fake it... are you high? Some people really want to simp for the hoes and really, really want him to be this evil icon in their minds to the point where they literally ignore basic logic and reality. You know that his girlfriend exists in social media, yes? People can contact her and just ask her to confirm if she actually said that. You'd have to be a complete dumbass to fake her response when it's literally just a DM away from proving whether it's fake or real. These people want to vilify him so much they are literally resorting to grasping at literal straws to justify themselves in their own minds.

@ItsSmolFae They don’t need her to tell their story. She would’ve stayed with him either way. He’s rich and she probably has little to nothing without him. It’s another reason why he’s kinda fucked up. He’s got a power dynamic within his own relationship.

why didn’t any of them try to tell the girlfriend first before they dropped the google doc ?

The only time she hasn’t is when she actually had no proof just words. I don’t think any of this should have been posted, especially not without the gfs okay

@ItsSmolFae @marisnotok The GF explicitly wanted privacy. Posting private check-in messages would be another violation of that privacy - the exact thing you're criticizing Mal for. You can't simultaneously demand privacy for the GF and demand Mal post private messages with her as proof.

@DaisyTatsuki @bluwunk I doubt she will post on her own account, I’d say the vast majority don’t know who she is even now and she wants privacy. She’s not a big name person, she probably just wants some normalcy back. Not add to the publicity of her relationship and identity.

It’s kind of fucked up in the discord audio recording the girl was saying keep her updated on how his gf is and then here his gf is like no one reached out to see how I was feeling 😒 Kinda makes it seem like everything was just selfish and planned like she never gaf about the gf in the first place 😭

@Ranra0211486 @marisnotok She had no issue posting everything publicly without the girlfriend’s consent, so why hasn’t she posted proof she checked up on the gf? She included messages from her in the google doc, why not her apologizing for what happened and if she’s okay? Because she didn’t.

@ItsSmolFae @marisnotok Mal said she checked up multiple times. There's a discrepancy worth acknowledging - but 'I gained nothing but hate and death threats' isn't a clout success story. And Nami came forward after - protecting future victims was a documented motivation.

i agree i worded my initial qrt on the sykkuno situation rather badly, i do still feel bad for the girlfriend, and i've had to go through the turmoil of being cheated on myself. that's why i genuinely can't see how she can forgive him, especially with how many girls he was cheating on her with. a one-off situation could maybe be a fixable thing, but multiple? nah. i understand that love and emotions can make us make stupid decisions, and her staying with him is definitely a stupid decision, but i do also want to express this: fuck mujin and fuck the girls who came out without first checking in with the girlfriend first. this could've easily stayed private.

@ItsSmolFae @marisnotok Going public w/o the GF's permission and doing for clout are not the same thing. You can't read their minds. Mal told the GF directly before going public, apologized to her, and spent an entire call advocating for her. That's not the behavior of someone who didn't care about her

@DarthhPotato Good note of caution on the use of the word “predator” - it not only weakens the term, as is the case with many words on the internet, but potentially opens them up to defamation arguments as none of this involved criminal activity or minors.

So what exactly is the news here? Literally click baiting and pretending that this is something bigger than it is. Where have I seen this story before ... but I guess everything has to be documented and shared these days. On top of that just blatantly misuse terms to drama bait.
