Crimson Desert is not about the story
it’s about getting lost in a massive open world, finding new quests, puzzle solving, weird but wonderful locations, fighting a wide range of enemies, boss battles, great miniature storylines and unbelievable views.
That’s enough for me. This game was never promised to be narrative focused, they promised a huge sandbox to do crazy shit in and that’s exactly what they delivered✨

There was a time 2-3 years ago where a game world of this size would’ve gotten me so excited.
Cut to today and I just don’t have the time or interest to play games of this scale anymore. I don’t want 1,000 side quests. I’m 45 trying to balance work, life, and hobbies. I’m good.

Crimson Desert world is so massive and diverse, it took John Linneman from Digital Foundry roughly 4 hours of traversal and exploration to go from the opening village to the desert. He also noted that he hasn't felt this need to explore since RDR2 and Breath of the Wild.

Im so glad @theburntpeanut is playing @theisleofficial hopefully it brings massive awareness to an otherwise small/underrated game, and promotes growth for the dev team.
Last year when Summit and the crew gave the game hype, it was a fun month or two!

Never liked the aiming in Tarkov. It always felt really… dead? This is much better than the first post for sure. Might make we wanna come play some Tarkov again. Strangely small changes like this peak my interest more than big things.
