@Its_ezara @supilled I totally understand what you mean. And it’s lowkey my fault.. since I realised I got the context wrong. I was focusing too much on indivdual choice and not realising what nilou’s character meant. I didn’t realise that by connecting her to her Persian roots, I completely

@votekek @supilled Without context sure someone having a choice to wear both bw and color is the definition of freedom but in this context you are enforcing the very thing the character is supposed to break.

@supilled I see it as a matter of personal choice., While the mandatory hijab law in Iran is oppressive, many women still wear it out of genuine personal belief. To me, giving her the choice to wear it celebrates her individual agency, which is what freedom is all about (right or wrong?)
