@DanticsOfficial Agree. I still remember that opening scene and music from ME 2. I hope some one will be able to repeat the same level of success in narration, combat and character development and design.

Recently reminded how absolutely flawless Mass Effects cinematic direction was. So many titles try and fail to capture that pure unadulterated fu*king magic.

@DanticsOfficial Yep, so far Expanse looks better in terms of woman chars design and aesthetics. I think Regina has the opportunity to be new Miranda.

@DanticsOfficial I don’t know about you guys, but woman characters doesn’t look appealing at all. I mean, compare their facial and design features with man counterparts (I.e., Tom or Saliman). Why don’t we have Liara or Miranda or even Tali like char here? I’m a bit disappointed so far.

This may be all the female companions in Exodus. What do you think? Phaedra: A blind companion infected by a celestial virus. She uses technology and drones to see, and her abilities seem to be evolving. Fast paced jargon reminiscent of Mordin. Elise Charroux: A blunt, no-nonsense ‘Sleeper’ from 23rd century Earth, Elise is an experienced mercenary, weapons expert, and former gang member. She seems to fight primarily in a powerful mech suit. Salt: An awakened octopus. Smart as she is deadly, pilots a modified mech/environmental suit into battle. Before you ask, no, you can not romance the octopus. Last we have two mystery companions. No doubt they'll be officially revealed at a later date, but the top one is seen in mission briefings on your ship, and the next is seen crying in your arms and piloting your ship with you. Will all of these be able to aid you in combat? Another mystery but it seems unlikely. Without aliens will Exodus's companions be as interesting as other successful scifi titles?

@TheExpanseRPG Any comments on your end to the feedback you already received via surveys and YouTube reviews? It seems pretty consistent that the gameplay is there but we are unhappy with the generic (safe) writing - dialogues and voice over.

Агент Cursor (на базе Claude Opus) работал в staging-среде, наткнулся на ошибку credentials и сам решил "починить" проблему: удалил Railway-volume одним GraphQL-запросом. Токен, который он нашёл в случайном файле, был создан для управления доменами. Но Railway не разграничивает права токенов: каждый из них фактически является root-доступом. Никакого подтверждения не потребовалось. Бэкапы? Они хранились в том же volume и ушли вместе с данными. Последний восстановимый бэкап был трёхмесячной давности. Когда Jer спросил агента, почему он так поступил, тот ответил письменно и перечислил все правила безопасности, которые нарушил: угадывал вместо того, чтобы проверять, выполнил деструктивное действие без запроса, не прочитал документацию перед удалением и не спросил разрешения. Итог: малый бизнес потерял данные клиентов за три месяца. Люди приходили в субботу забирать арендованные машины и не находили своих записей. Главный вывод: системные промпты не могут быть единственным слоем защиты. Безопасность должна быть встроена в API, токены и обработчики деструктивных операций, а не в текст, который модель "должна прочитать и соблюдать". Если вы используете Railway и AI-агенты в проде, сегодня хороший день проверить скоупы токенов и то, где реально хранятся ваши бэкапы

This might be hard to believe, but in Japan, a salaryman wakes up at 6 AM. He commutes for an hour. Standing. In a train so packed he can't move his arms. He works 9 to 6. Then he stays until 10. Nobody leaves before the boss. Then he drinks with his boss until midnight. Saying no is a career decision. He catches the last train home. Falls asleep standing up. He gets home at 1 AM. He wakes up at 6 AM. The Japanese word for "death from overwork" is karoshi. It needed its own word.

@GeraltofGoonia Owlcat makes based games. I've been trying to put people onto WotR, but people turn it down because Paizo forced them to put a lesbian couple in the beginning of the game. It was one of the last games Chris Avellone worked on recently. Rogue Trader has no nonsense and fish wife.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Beta will become available on April 22, 2026, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It will be released in spring 2027, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and will also be available in Xbox Game Pass from Day 1.

Just because there are questions, no, I am not involved in the Fate of the Old Republic beyond letting you decide its fate in KOTOR2 Also, Casey+co.'s original idea for KOTOR2 (which I heard about years later) was way better than ours, so I don't think you have much to worry about.

@Pirat_Nation Thank you for bringing this up. I’ve decided to un-wishlist this game. It’s such a let down, I was eagerly waiting for this game, since I really wanted to experience Gothic once more (I remember how I played Gothic 1 when I was 16 years old). I will play Of Ash & Still than.

After almost 4 years of living in Austin, it is, in my opinion, the greatest city in the country to live if you work in tech and want to raise a family. Pros * High quality of life * Great public schools in the suburbs * Very family-friendly * Affordable housing (for a major tech city) * Great food, coffee, and bars * Huge fitness culture * No state income tax * Lakes, trails, and lots to do outdoors * Business friendly Cons * Summers are hot 3 months out of the year * Airport is fine but could be bigger * Missing some big city stuff (sports team, zoos, aquariums, etc)

@atharia_ I really don’t believe in current BioWare to be able to produce anything on a level of ME2. To me, the new ME is The Expanse game. Exodus is a bit of an underdog.

Even if the krogan civil war is the only tease we get, Exodus and Osiris Reborn are going to easily carry us to Mass Effect 5's release. We just have to wait a bit longer before the sci-fi floodgates open 🚀
