Consider time as well. If it takes several hours to complete, how much would you like to be paid by the hour?

@KitsuneMoboArt See what your moots are charging and stay in that lane. With your quality, you shouldn't be charging less than ~$50ish for a bust-up. Higher for full body, background, etc.
Consider talking to an artist friend you trust who already has comms and getting their take on rates.

How do you feel about the idea of the client asking what they want, I draw it, and they make a donation of the amount they think it's worth to something like Ko-fi?
