I had this happen to me once while catching a game. The opposing third base coach starting raging at the home plate umpire over a foul ball call at the left field pole, his base runner comes up and starts screaming as well. The umpire just hands me a new ball without calling a time out so I just walk over to the runner and tag him out while he is still yelling.
That was final inning out and as I was walking back to the dugout removing my equipment the third base coach coach takes notice and wants to know what is going on and the umpire notifies him of the final inning out. Believe me he really went nuts then! Moral "the ball isn't dead until the ump says so."
"Dylan Crews was supposed to be the guy who was the face of the Nats franchise going forward and it hasn't worked out."
@AJPierzynski12 has heard that Crews "won't make adjustments" that need to be made in order to hit in the big leagues.
@SenRandPaul You’re an absolute disgrace! You pretend that you’re holy and thou and you are just as violent as anyone else if a person came up to you or even said from a distance the same thing as that gentleman did to Mullen you would’ve done the same so stop playing holy then thou!
"So, today, Markwayne Mullin, I’ll give you a chance. Tell it to my face. Tell the world why you believe I deserved to be assaulted from behind, have six ribs broken, and a damaged lung. Tell me to my face why you think I deserved it."
@SenRandPaul Rand Paul's point which seems to be lost in these comments is that political violence is escalating in this country and people in politics shouldn't be making comments that encourage anyone. I have to wonder how many bots are in the comments here.
@SilverDog5000@DoctorLemma If you didn't remember a single song from the era, you wouldn't remember this one.
If you remember this song, you do remember some songs from the era.
I think what you are trying to say is that this is the only song you remember from that era
Her mother spent $4,000 to record a birthday song for a thirteen year old girl. It changed the next decade of that girl's life in ways nobody could have predicted.
The song was called Friday. Rebecca Black recorded it during school break, just for fun. It sat at around 1,000 views for a month. Then it didn't.
It became the most disliked video on all of YouTube. The count was public back then. Everyone could see it. Millions of people had gone out of their way to press a button just to register their contempt for a thirteen year old girl.
She was in eighth grade.
Kids at school would walk past her singing it in mocking voices. Food was thrown at her. She received threatening messages serious enough that police investigated them. She eventually switched to homeschooling.
At nineteen, almost every producer she approached told her they would never work with her. She wrote years later that she had spent most of her teenage years terribly ashamed of herself and afraid of the world.
She kept going.
Lady Gaga called the song genius. Katy Perry championed her publicly and invited her to appear in her own music video. Friday was covered on Glee. Her 2023 debut album received critical acclaim. In 2025 she released her second album, toured across North America and Europe, and opened for Katy Perry on a world tour.
She has turned down every offer to have the video removed from the internet. She said pulling it down would only attach more shame to something she no longer feels ashamed of.
The video has been watched over 167 million times.
Coldplay kiss cam woman says she and her boss were separated from their marriages when they were caught in viral video.
Kristin Calbot has revealed she was estranged from her husband at the time of the viral video and her husband was even at the same concert.
DOOCY: You said twice today that you talked to another former president about Iran. Was it George W Bush?
TRUMP: No
DOOCY: Was it Bill Clinton?
TRUMP: I don’t want to say. I don’t want to say because—
DOOCY: Barack Obama?
You've got lots of questions about the Nationals' new TV network. How to watch today's game. How to watch the regular season. How much it costs. When it will be available on cable/satellite. Here are the answers to a bunch of your questions ...

Woman moved to America and says our food is poison
“I grew up in Switzerland and no one believes me when I say the American food system is rigged... I used to eat pasta, pizza, everything — and I was skinny and fit and I looked great. Okay then I moved to America. Became so active, I became a runner, I started eating gluten free, I literally counted my calories and I gained 30 pounds.
It is not the European lifestyle, it is the food itself. Food in Europe is just nutritious. Like you'll eat pizza and it's actually nutritious for you because of the grains. But then you come here to America and you have flour and it's just literally bleach. You're eating bleach.”
We shouldn’t have to live like this
@FeelYouHappy For anyone wondering, they’re performative as hell. The only reason they act that way is because of kpop culture, their fans oblige them to be cutesy robots.
YOU chose to wear our flag.
YOU chose to represent our country.
YOU chose to compete at the @Olympics.
If that’s too hard for you, then GO HOME.
Some things are bigger than politics.
You just don’t get it.
