@BogDrakonov @opensrcdefense No, but it's also nice when you and your spouse encourage each other on hobby purchases and get excited for them abt it, ya know, because it's fun and makes each other happy. many people's "marriages" sound awful.

@morganknutson LMAO you know when you see one of these avatars the “design” is going to be shit. Love his absolute confidence too. I bet he constantly tells people “he cooked”. Guaranteed nobody actually pays this 🤡 for work.

How France played 10/10 football throughout the World Cup and 4/10 football in the semi final will need to be studied in football school as the ultimate cautionary tale.

Hard disagree here. Charging based on send vs. users is penalizing a customer for exactly what the tool is designed to do: communicate with your users. If you “rarely send emails” then why are you even using a tool like this? Charging based on send would just put Loops in the generic SMTP sender bucket and there’s already a million of those. Loops pricing feels like it makes a jump @ scale, but so would sends in that case. And I don’t think the “value” is on sending, it’s the whole kitchen sink “every type of user communication is handled by one tool”. Dunno, for me their pricing model seems A+ unless I’m thinking abt it wrong

the question is where are they moving too and what pricing does the competitor have and are they customers you should keep. I moved from Customer.io because they were crazy expensive for the amount of customers I had, now, if I signed up for Loops today, I’d spend more on Loops. Half our customers say our pricing is way too cheap and we should charge more, the others scoff at how expensive it is. For some customers the only price that they think is fair is “free.” So be careful listening to pricing objections. I’d first segment if these are ICP, figure out if they are legit regrettable where did they move too, and what pricing appealed to them. As a longtime customer of Loops, I think what I disliked about competitors was the overcharging per user. I rarely send emails, and a tax on simply having more users felt ridiculous for any product with sufficient amount of users. I’d guess a tool like Resend or something that charges more transactions would be appealing to those customers (and myself). Charge for the value you provide (sending great emails ?), not the value the customer created (large contact list).

emailing (by hand) every user that cancelled over the last 30 days and badgering them till I get a real answer if you exclude failed payments, acquisitions and shutdowns the results are mostly price any thoughts on how we could improve our pricing?

I *adore* the pricing model tho. Charging based on users vs sends is massive 🫶. Anyway doubt you’ll see all this but as a founder that’s why I’d cancel/downgrade. If it’s not solving the #1 problem I have - I have users who *explicitly* signed up, I want to legitimately talk to them, when and how I want, and I have to fight Google and Apple to do so. That’s bullshit and I need it solved.

I admittedly live under a rock and hadn’t heard of Loops yet. Just spent a good 10 min on your site (lovely design details btw). But the one thing that’s sorely missed is any focus at all on deliverability which is the #1 priority for us. Almost all of the product features you advertise we can build in house… but we can’t build the domain knowledge you clearly have… (more…)

And I don’t mean just good “guides” on best practices. I mean baking it into the product. I want to send a monthly product update or a weekly digest, does the app spread that out? And how? Maybe even differentiate it? Etc etc. These are all the things we’re faced with building rn that I’d rather not. Much rather pay an expert to handle it than learn+build…

To this day I don’t understand what the fuck XChat is for. Why do I need a separate app for messages when they’re literally built into the main X app?

Finally got my handle on here 🥺 Someone using it to impersonate me was the reason they verified my account back in 2015, but I was never able to actually get it. Finally unified across every platform.

It’s always funny when people show off their low IQ. →It’s made for the iPhone Air, who the fuck cares if it works with other phones? →It doesn’t “charge” the Phone lmao, it adds 65% more battery. Clearly you think this is a wireless phone charger and not an extender. 💀 →Because the devices it actually “charges” like AirPods, 12W *is* fast compared to the usual 5. →Routinely found for half that is U.S. stores. But something tells me your dumbass is from India and has never seen an iPhone Air IRL, I have no idea what that is in rupees 😂

The iPhone Air compatible “MagSafe Battery” is the most fruitless Apple product I've ever seen in my life. →Only compatible with iPhone Air →Can't even fully charge the iPhone Air →Only 65% additional charge →Only 12W wireless charging (why the f*ck they added "fast" in 3rd highlight) →NO battery % indicator (you just have to believe that it's charged) It's thin (only good point), but not worth $100.

@dr It's been a struggle man. The best you can do is get ahold of someone on the inside. The flag was most likely hackers attempting access to your account, not anything you did yourself.

I signed up to Instagram on the day it publicly opened in 2010, just after it was rebranded from Burbn. Just like on Twitter, I was so early, I grabbed the @dr username. My account was recently closed indefinitely for "fraud and deception". It's been private for years, and only had photos of our family. Finland, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia. I recently opened it up because I was going to start posting about life again. Cheers, Meta. Now what.

@jjreeves Their beliefs might be a little more nuanced (maybe). A lot of the recycling programs have proved to be dishonest and are just liberal feel good points at higher cost. A lot of aluminum recycling is legit tho.
