Inhalation was banned. - New rule: Patients 21 and older may now vaporize medical cannabis (including vape cartridges and flower/leaf for home vaporization). 3) Expanded Qualifying Conditions - New conditions added: Lupus, severe arthritis, and severe insomnia. - Broader access to existing conditions: Removes the old requirement that many diagnoses (e.g., cancer, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, etc.) must be “severe or end-stage.” Patients can now qualify earlier in their diagnosis 4) Registry Cards & Other Practical Improvements - Patient registry cards are now valid for 5 years (most patients still need annual physician certification; those with incurable/irreversible conditions are exempt from yearly recertification). - Lawful possession is explicitly excluded from the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, with clarified criminal penalties that reduce risk for compliant patients. 5) Expands recognition of out-of-state medical cannabis cards for visitors to Georgia - It explicitly adds language protecting “out-of-state registered patient[s]” who possess medical cannabis compliant with Georgia’s new rules (the 12,000 mg total THC possession limit, etc.). In addition, the Georgia Board of Pharmacy had approved medical cannabis dispensation for the low-THC program under independent pharmacy licenses back in 2023. Over 100+ pharmacies signed up. The DEA put the brakes on pharmacy point-of-sale due to cannabis being schedule 1. Since state-legal marijuana is now moved to schedule 3, expect the pharmacy retail fulfillment of medical cannabis in Georgia to move forward, enabling access to patients state-wide without the need to build additional dispensaries. $MSOS #Cannabis

Before getting into the details, as someone who has spent a lot of time in Gastonia, NC, this is the most "Gastonia" gas station conversation I've ever heard (audio up) 😎 -very good body positioning by the cop to conceal his 4 o'clock draw and a solid draw and first shot on target time 🤌🏽 -the cop took at least two shots on the threat while the threat was at a 90 degree angle; good example of why the 12-18'' penetration standard is the standard. ALERT: Bodycam footage released shows a black man trying to run over police officers before being shot and killed, as the family hires George Floyd's attorneys, claiming they failed to de-escalate before killing him. Chicago police were chasing a car, driven by Derek Jordan, which they believed was involved in a shooting earlier in the morning. Jordan tries to ram his way out by smashing into a bus and the unmarked police cars surrounding him. Police then warn Jordan that they will shoot if he does not exit the vehicle, and when he does not comply, an officer then shoots into the car, hitting Jordan. Jordan was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Jordan's family has hired the legal team from George Floyd's case, Romanucci and Blandin, and they stated, “They had him surrounded. At that point, stepping back and de-escalating was the right thing for officers to do. They had time and space to control the situation, but instead they escalated it and used a level of force that was not needed in that situation.” The officer who shot Jordan was stripped of his police duties days after the incident and was transferred to the department’s Alternate Response Section, which hosts police officers who are facing disciplinary action or not medically cleared for duty.
