@trq212 Very cool! Lately I found myself replacing Figma with a simple html file. I basically tell Claude Code to generate variations of the UX/UI I want directly in an HTML. I can then open in my browser and instantly see the UI and even click to interact with it.

AI coding agents build UX/UIs but never look at them. They say “done!” while the console is on fire and the user flow is totally broken. I built ProofShot in my free time. 3 shell commands, the agent gets a browser, records everything, logs all server and console logs in a timeline and bundles the proof. My new motto: never trust an agent that won’t show its own work. 280 GitHub stars overnight so far. Built on top of the amazing agent-browser by @vercel @vercel_dev

What makes a great software is the fact that the makers were able to resist scope creep, resist the temptation to build one more feature no one asked for. Before an engineer would tell you “this will take us 2 weeks”. That made you pause and think if users really need this. I wonder how much more bloated softwares are going to become now.

@JBerthom This solves one of the most annoying parts of AI-assisted frontend dev: describing layout issues in words. Does Pointa work with any AI coding tool (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) or is it tied to a specific one?

Click it. Annotate it. AI fixes it. That's the whole workflow. No more typing "the button in the header, second from the right, with the wrong padding..." Pointa = Chrome extension that lets you whisper to your AI coding tool. Build it and made it open source: pointa.dev

I want to start a community dedicated to Claude Code. It’s become the gateway drug to coding and experiencing the power of AI for tons of people. This will be a space for people to share killer use cases, agentic workflows, proven prompts, and connect with other CC obsessives. Comment “Claude” if you want to join.

Building an agent that can generate an entire interactive course from a PDF/textbook 🤯 The way it works: I have pre-built components (Q&A, drag & match, flowchart, info bubble, ect...) that can be invoked through tool calls. Here's the full workflow: 1. The agent will first parse the material passed in (can either remain in context if small or be embedded if big) 2. Agent will then decide on a good structure for the lesson (will be given a few good examples for reference) 3. Through tool calling, it will be able to select the right components now that it has a lesson structure. It will also pass in the relevant params to the components (like generated questions or content for a flowchart). 4. The finished lesson gets handed off to a Lesson Reviewer agent for a final check against source material 5. Lesson gets created & is able to be sent to others This app will be built with open source LLMs from @togethercompute and will be free & open source! I think this will turn out to be one of my most interesting apps. Let me know if y'all want to see a guide on how I built it as well!

@levelsio Few tiny details give it off (spoon breaks mid air), but still impressive... Maybe it's a good thing if we have less Bali influencers tbh

Biggest objection: if you’ve already done all the shopping of the food items, isn’t it because you already know what you are going to cook (roughly)? Paradoxically, isn’t the person most likely to benefit from meal suggestions someone who hasn’t done all of the shopping yet? Hence has no receipts to show.

Who wants $10,000,000? Build this idea. Americans waste $1,500 per year (I bet its more) on groceries they never use... You buy random ingredients, then stare at your fridge wondering what the heck to cook. Turn your grocery receipts into actual meal plans. 1. Upload your receipt. 2. Get a week of custom recipes based on what you actually bought. 3. Eat good! No more scrolling Pinterest for 2 hours looking for recipes that need ingredients you don't have. The AI understands your shopping patterns, dietary restrictions, and cooking skills. It suggests meals you'll actually make, not fantasy dishes that require 47 ingredients. $9.99/month beats throwing away $125 worth of food every month. The meal planning market is exploding from $972M to $11.5B by 2034 because people are finally tired of food waste and decision fatigue. Perfect timing to solve the gap between good intentions and actual cooking. We all gotta eat.

I feel you. I have been through the same with my mother who went through 2 knee replacements mainly due to extra weight. It created so much pressure on our relationship (me buying her a gym membership, designing a better diet, etc) that we got into a small fight and she had a heart attack 10 min after getting off the phone. She is ok now. Got surgery. Since that day I just gave up the fight and decided to enjoy the years I have left with my mom without ever getting into another struggle. Just love and no fights. I would just say: watch out how those conversations affect your dad. If it creates too much stress, decide if it’s really worth it. I am still traumatized by the whole thing.

It's been tough to see my Dad's frame get more and more frail by the year. He's 74. Every time I see him, his arms and legs are skinnier. I tell him to eat protein. I tell him to lift weights. I offer to create diets and simple workouts for him he can do. He doesn't listen. Can't be bothered. He doesn't have more than a few high quality years left. Soon, he won't be able to travel due to being in poor physical health. Men, I URGE you - if you don't have healthy habits like eating high protein and strength training regularly, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? My Dad will say things like "oh, you like working out, you're different" and "you have to work out bc you make money from it". I just roll my eyes. All copes. I got deep into fitness well before I started a coaching business. Why? Because I had become a Father and I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility to be healthy and strong, and I never want to be a burden on anyone. You should feel the same.
