@ShitpostRock2 My biggest problem with Elden Ring is that your exploration is rewarded by tedium and items you can't use because you don't have the correct build and need to upgrade it all over again. You're effectively being negatively rewarded for exploring.

Norway is forcing through 24 new asylum reception centres right now. That’s thousands of spots for “asylum seekers”, many in tiny villages and small towns where nobody asked for them and nobody wants them. In places with just a few hundred locals, they’re dumping 150–300 young men from completely different cultures, and the local mayors are screaming that it’s being shoved down their throats with impossible deadlines. As if the deadlines was the real issue. This is demographic replacement happening in our own backyards. Small Norwegian communities that have existed for generations are getting their population swapped out. Low birth rates among Norwegians plus mass influx of people who don’t share our values, and come with high costs and problems such as crime, parallel societies, pressure on schools, healthcare, and welfare. We keep hearing “we need this for the districts” or “humanitarian reasons,” while they close down schools and jobs. The truth is clear: many of these places don’t want it, the locals are tired of it, and the politicians just keep pushing anyway. Return those who get rejected. Stop destroying our small towns and our country for ideology.Protect our communities before it’s too late.

His name was Mikael Janicki. He was a 39-year-old Polish man living in Sweden. He was cycling with his 12-year-old son to the swimming pool. In a pedestrian underpass, they were surrounded and verbally harassed by a group of immigrants. Mikael turned back to confront them and protect his son. One of them, named Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Mohammed, pulled out a gun and shot him twice in the head at close range, right in front of his boy. Mikael died shortly after. The shooter, a repeat offender with prior convictions including attempted murder, was sentenced to 14 years in prison in March 2025. Four others from the group were convicted of helping the killer escape and covering up evidence. Since they were minors, they received youth care, probation with community service, and youth supervision and spent not a single day in prison.

Bear in mind, Germany's only resource was always education and good institutions. r/DePi Experiences as a teacher at a school with a high proportion of refugees - it is even worse than you think Hello everyone, I studied mathematics and am currently working as a secondary school teacher in the Ruhr area, partly due to the current precarious labor market situation. The proportion of refugees at my school, as at many other schools here in the region, is quite high. Most refugees are taught in separate integration classes, as integration into regular classes is simply not possible due to the desolate level of education. I teach two such integration classes several times a week and just wanted to share my experiences with you here. Even before starting my current job, I was extremely critical of the current migration, but my experiences in the teaching profession make my worst fears at the time seem like a benevolent utopia. For context: A large proportion of the integration classes consist of Marrocans born in Spain, but Syrians, Afghans and Roma are also strongly represented. The rest is a wild potpourri of Ukrainians and refugees from other Arab or Muslim countries such as Lebanon or Somalia. One class consists mainly of younger students between 11 and 13 years of age, the other class consists mainly of teenagers around 16 years of age. Now a small summary of my observations: In about half of the classes there is no significant literacy in their own language, just over half understand, even after years in the local school system, in about as good a German as I understand Mandarin. At least in math (I can only judge the other subjects to a very limited extent), the level of education is an absolute fiasco, even among older students. Truly the simplest arithmetic problems (5+6 or 7-4) are already very difficult. The cause often seems to be cognitive, because even if I illustrate the numbers with objects, many students are unable to solve corresponding tasks. It is currently Ramadan. Ukrainian students who do not fast must leave the room if they want to have a drink or eat. On the one hand, this is a rule imposed by the classes themselves, but on the other hand it is also tolerated or even actively supported by large parts of the other teaching staff and the social worker. Some male students refuse to sit next to female students for religious reasons. This is also tolerated. Fights are commonplace and that is no exaggeration. In fact, there is at least one fight almost every day. There are no properly maintained school folders or generally a careful handling of school materials. Most come to class wearing only the clothes they wear on their bodies. About half of the class with the older students is always delayed by at least 10 minutes at the first lesson, or sometimes 20 or 30 minutes. Even after the breaks, the class is actually only 10 minutes late each time. During Ramadan, also tolerated by other school staff, a good proportion sleep regularly in class by placing their head on the table. Female students are regularly labeled with highly obscene terms. The punishment of such statements either does not take place at all or is so restrained that repetition is encouraged. On parent-teacher conferences, 90 percent of parents, even after several years of residence in Germany, can only communicate via interpreters. A few days ago, some students proudly told me what new cell phone models their siblings and parents have, which, mind you, receive almost exclusively transfer payments. Female colleagues generally have it more difficult than my gender counterparts, who are usually at least rudimentarily respected. Some students often do not show up at school for months without apology. A rejection of other religions is very clear in many situations. For group work in other subjects that spans weeks, the results have a scope that can be achieved by those with normal abilities within five minutes. There is no mixing with other students. You like to keep to yourself. Even among refugees, groups usually form according to their respective origins. With all the negative impressions, there are a few positive experiences. A handful of students are actually making an effort and progress. These students are also the only reason why work doesn't seem completely pointless. I myself try to counteract this to the best of my ability, but this is hardly possible if there is no support from the staff and the school administration. I have already capitulated on some points because a corresponding commitment only breaks your nerves without changing anything. Many of the older students are leaving our education system anytime soon, and with that, the state is losing pretty much the only way to exert any influence. I fear that the situation in other schools often looks little better. This leads us to send school leavers into the wild year after year who neither write, read nor master the most basic primary school mathematics. Such people are not fit for any kind of work and are doomed to languish in our welfare system for life. Muslim and African students, in particular, often have an absurd number of siblings by German standards. If one assumes that this reproduction rate will not break with the current generation, but perhaps even increase given the fantastic conditions here in Germany compared to their countries of origin (not for locals, but certainly for people from countries with a per capita GDP of $800), the problems are compounded exponentially. I lack any imagination as to how the catastrophe that lies ahead could be averted in any way, and this is increasingly frustrating me. Just wanted to share this with you. Thanks to those who stuck with it until the end of the text and gave themselves my whining.

Många av oss minns hur en dömd gruppvåldtäktsman kunde få 840 000kr i skadestånd av Justitiekanslern under Socialdemokraternas tid vid makten. Det gör vi nu upp med. Vi minns också hur hans brottsoffer endast kunde få ut någon tusenlapp av det skadestånd hon hade rätt till därför att våldtäktsmannens skadestånd inte gick att utmäta åt henne. Det är ett av de mest uppenbara exemplen på hur den tidigare rättsordningen som de gamla partierna länge har förvaltat satte brottsofferperspektivet i baksätet. Gång på annan skulle gärningsmannen tas om hand, skyddas och ersättas, alltid till brottsoffrets nackdel. Förra veckan presenterade vi lagförslag som innebär att vi kraftigt stärker brottsofferperspektivet inom svensk skadeståndsrätt. Dessa lagförslag genomförs nu. För det första så ska det bli lättare för brottsoffer att få den ersättning de har rätt till. Systemet för betalningar av skadestånd förenklas och staten ska nu först betala ut brottskadeersättning åt brottsoffret för att sedan kräva in pengarna av gärningsmannen. Tidigare behövde brottsoffret vända sig till gärningsmannen för att få sitt skadestånd utbetalt. Ett våldtäktsoffer behövde alltså först själv försöka driva in sina pengar från gärningsmannen som har våldtagit henne innan staten hjälpte till. Den ordningen tar vi nu bort. För det andra tar vi bort lagen som gjorde så att offret i 840 000kr-fallet inte kunde ta del av gärningsmannens pengar som han hade fått i skadestånd av staten. Nu ska det inte längre spela roll ifall pengarna kommer från skadestånd, en försäkring eller vad det nu skulle kunna vara. Pengar ska alltid kunna användas för att betala skulder till brottsoffer, tiden då kriminella kunde leva loppan på pengar som staten inte kunde utmäta till förmån för deras offer är borta. För det tredje gör vi upp med alla stötande fall där kriminella fått skadestånd av staten för att de har suttit inlåsta för länge. Frihetsberövandeersättning som det så fint heter ska bara kunna ges i den utsträckning det är skäligt. Jag vill i det sammanhanget lyfta två exempel som jag har upplevt som särskilt stötande och som vi nu åtgärdar: Det första exemplet är då en misstänkt på ett eller annat sätt har krånglat sig kvar i häktet och därför har suttit där en längre tid. Det skulle exempelvis kunna röra sig om att man har försvårat utredningen eller att man har försatt sig själv i situationer som har lett till häktning trots att inget brott har kunnat bevisas i slutändan. En person som rör sig i gängkriminella kretsar och poserar på bild med automatvapen eller ljuger om att han har varit delaktig i ett mord på sociala medier men som visar sig vara oskyldig till eventuell brottslighet (bilden kanske togs på en laglig skjutbana utomlands exempelvis) har tidigare kunnat få stora summor skadestånd av staten. Detta därför att han har suttit inlåst utan skuld i ett brott. Dessa kommer nu som huvudregel inte att få en spänn. Har man medvetet och mot bättre vetande krånglat sig kvar i häktet får man faktiskt skylla sig själv, det ska staten inte ersätta. Det andra exemplet jag vill lyfta är 840 000kr-fallet. När våldtäktsmannen dömdes första gången så fann domstolen mycket riktigt att han var skyldig till de brotten han stod åtalad för. Inte heller vid resningen som låg till grund för att hans straff senare minskades ändrades skuldfrågan, utan straffmildringen berodde på att man hade landat i att han var något år yngre än vad man ansåg i den första domstolsvändan. Alltså hade han rent tekniskt sett suttit fängslad för länge då han hade fått "för lite straffrabatt". Det finns förvisso en rimlighet i att personer som är oskyldigt dömda får ersättning för att de har varit inlåsta utan skuld. Det är rättvist. På samma sätt är det rättvist att personer som exempelvis döms till för långa fängelsestraff ersätts därför att de felaktigen har dömts för ett grovt brott som egentligen skulle vara av normalgraden. Samtidigt är det viktigt att systemet inte är stötande. I 840 000kr-fallet utgick ersättning på grund av omständigheter som helt och hållet var hänförliga till gärningsmannen samtidigt som skuldfrågan bestod. Han var alltså lika skyldig till det mycket allvarliga brott han begått samtidigt som han enligt den gamla rättsordningen inte hade fått ”tillräckligt mycket rabatt” i den första prövningen. Därför inför vi nu en regel som säger att ersättningen ska kunna jämkas helt i sådana fall där det är stötande att frihetsberövandeersättning betalas ut vid allvarlig brottslighet när det för långa frihetsberövandet inte beror på skuldfrågan eller brottsrubriceringen. Även i andra fall då det framstår som stötande att stora ersättningsbelopp ska betalas ut kommer detta att kunna justeras för att undvika sådana resultat. Kort fattat, med vår politik hade 840 000kr-mannen förmodligen inte fått en krona i skadestånd och staten hade betalat ut brottsskadeersättning till brottsoffret utan att hon hade behövt försöka driva in pengarna från gärningsmannen. Alla pengar och all egendom som tillhörde honom hade dessutom kunnat utmätas till förmån för brottsoffret, oavsett var de kommer ifrån. Vår nya ordning är mycket rättvisare än Socialdemokraternas gamla ordning.
