Interesting asymmetry. Conservatives generally believe the US should support its allies and that allies should support the US in return. Liberals, by contrast, believe the US should support its allies, but allies shouldn't help the US:

Erika Kirk’s husband was assassinated in September. It’s March & a black comedian is putting on white face & mocking her in a video. Honest question, if a prominent black leader had been assassinated & a white comedian put on blackface & mocked his widow, what would happen?

If you want to get a glimpse into how bad modern dating culture has gotten. 22 men are about to compete on national television for the chance to marry a single mom of 3 who cheated on her previous husband and has an open domestic assault case against her.

⚡️The 52 percent number is the symptom. The real story is the collapse of the white collar apprenticeship system. For decades the economy ran on a quiet machine. Universities produced graduates. Corporations absorbed them as juniors. Juniors learned by doing low value work. Over time they became the high value workers. That machine is breaking. The low value work that trained juniors is disappearing. Research. Drafting. Analysis. Reporting. Coordination. Basic coding. Software started eating it. Globalization outsourced it. AI is now finishing the job. So the bottom rung of the knowledge economy is shrinking. Graduates are still produced at the same rate. But the ladder they were supposed to climb is thinner. That is why you see massive underemployment without massive unemployment. People still have jobs. They just do not have career entry points. Retail jobs. Service jobs. Admin work. Gig work. Work exists. The ladder does not. Now the darker layer. Universities cannot easily fix this because their business model depends on enrollment. So the system keeps selling the same promise. Degree equals opportunity. Even while the number of real opportunities shrinks. That creates a quiet social pressure cooker. A generation carries student debt. The expected career path does not materialize. Asset ownership gets delayed. Family formation slows. That frustration eventually spills into politics, culture, and economic behavior. The meme says “college is a scam.” The deeper truth is harsher. College was designed for an economy that needed millions of junior knowledge workers. The new economy needs far fewer. The pipeline did not shrink. So the overflow shows up as underemployment.

We have two types of people in government who represent the American people. Leaders who do the right thing regardless of the short-term political consequences and what the ‘party’ might think, and politicians who say whatever they believe will get them short-term support to maintain their seat in power. Politicians are dangerous. Only leaders can build and protect our country.
