@Boadicea12 @atrupar As a 31 year veteran, this thought breaks my heart. For it is my love of country and serving my neighbors by contributing to the protections of our constitution I could never turn on my neighbors and would rather die trying to protect them.

APPLEBAUM: If you are leader of Russia or China, what's thing that's most threatening to you? Language of liberal democracy.
All this stuff we find boring and we're used to, like idea of freedom of speech, separation of powers, rule of law, all those things we take for granted in our societies are huge challenge to political systems in Russia or China.
What's Putin most afraid of? He's most afraid of street revolution of the kind we had in Ukraine in 2014. When people are standing in the street and they have signs saying "we're against corruption, we want democracy, we want to be in the European Union, we want to be integrated with Europe."
He's afraid of that happening in Russia because if you live in autocratic state where you don't have freedom of speech, where there's no justice, where government decides what all the rules are, then those ideas are explosive and exciting.
They were the same way in 18th century when they first appeared in Declaration of Independence. People can be motivated by them, people will go into the street for them, people will risk their lives for them, and autocrats know that.
Really, for the past decade you see them seeking to spread those ideas, to promote them. I mean, we all know now about Russian propaganda campaigns, we know what Russian disinformation looks like.
There's a Chinese version, too, which we don't see that much in English, but it appears in other countries. We see them seeking to undermine democracy, trying to spread the influence of different set of ideas.

Mothers today just don’t understand. I used to sled straight down a steep hill in a cemetery, where tombstones at the bottom could have been deadly. Not to mention the snowman I built around the curve on the railroad tracks, or the time I set off a whole roll of firecrackers right at the front door of the local police department.
The bottle rocket wars we had during our campouts were absolutely wild!
Life was so much simpler back then, and the police would usually just laugh it off.
My crowning glory was probably the time I woke up my entire scout patrol at 5 a.m. for an early hike on the reservation. Apparently we got too close to some tank war games and ended up being chased back to our campsite by an army helicopter! I got the scout of the year award that year!😂😂😂😂
There is a reason people don’t think outside the box anymore. They are trained not too! They are trained to always play it safe.

@Jpenshafer @KYMaverick1 Indeed! It takes far too much energy to be angry at someone all the time. My experience is that I am shown kindness if I show others kindness and respect 🥰

@Rich_Cooper Your wife’s boyfriend likes tatted women

Tattoo's all over a woman, is like putting bumper stickers all over a Lambo.
Just awful

You are correct. BPD Handbook, Section 12(c): Domestic Scene Awareness Protocol:
“If an officer encounters a dead body on their lawn, best practice is to deploy the see nothing, hear nothing technique and allow the evidence to reveal itself over time by random cars passing by.”

@TheChauffeurX I live in NYC. Police do not "interfere" with other police officers investigations even if the crime was committed on their own property. Had Brian Albert come out of the house, discovered or touched any evidence, you would be crying about that too.
