Muchas personas me pidieron un pronunciamiento público sobre Noelia. No lo he hecho hasta ahora porque creo que el asunto merece más que la ligereza de estas horas y la brevedad con la que mañana nos fijaremos en otra cosa. Este caso nos exige una reflexión profunda. Las instituciones que debían proteger a Noelia le fallaron. Desde la infancia y de una manera tan desgarradora que le debemos perdón y algo más que palabras. Me niego a pensar que el sistema público no tenía herramientas para darle los cuidados y la esperanza que necesitaba. Los hay, pero no funcionaron.
