Whether or not they missed opportunities earlier (so did the us) doesnt magically mean the strike zone expands a lot and you call a clear ball a strike. It was a blown call

I'm stunned by how many people are saying Perdomo should have swung at that pitch last night and that it was too close to take. So he swings and obliterates his bat on a weak grounder or swings and misses? How about just get the call right?

The pitches u are refering to were also missed but were not in the same region and were much closer. It was inconsistent bad umping

All angles show it wasnt, a pro player has to swing at a pitch that low cause the ump is very bad and could backwards K, or think that went both ways
