@aschilling Interesting choice to build it 2dpc / 4 channel. I understand it on the ACE board, since Asus is clearly aiming it for the 2400 with the SAGE for 3400, and I think Supermicro is differentiating their board the same way

My mistake: I got confused by the manual where they are talking about eight channels, but it’s just supporting four channels.

I’m a little bit struggling with the Xeon w9-3495X system. All 56 cores @ 2.9 GHz also draw 480 W from the power supply - so far so good. But the memory performance is not where it should be. The G.Skill Zeta R-DIMMs are on the QVL list, but the XMP profile is not booting

@Bolognesus @DanKaszeta @ValDobson It's *supposed* to use different colors for that, though. Green for grammar, blue for "contextual misspelled" (their vs there for example)

@DanKaszeta @ValDobson Set spellcheck to check only spelling, not spelling and grammar. It might want you to use 'as well', rather than also, in this context (it's done weirder for me). It gets a little too clever (except not really) for its own good with those suggestions IME.

@DanKaszeta I've had luck turning "check spelling as you type" off then back on. Mileage may vary.

@JohnathanPerk I wonder how it would have gone. SCOTUS would be less awful for sure. GOP would have put even more effort into increasing covid deaths though, and maybe blamed enough on her to win in 2020.
