It’s not every day you shake hands with someone who helped change your family’s story. A few weeks ago, Diane and I met John Kuharski in Kamloops. He fought at Groningen in WWII, the town where Canadian troops liberated my parents.

The disastrous second Iraq war was so much better organized than this. Bush, Powell, Cheney, Rice, Frum etc were wrong about the war making the world safer, but they were properly organized, built a coalition, sold the war. Trump's people just seem stupid and careless. 1/2
