Yesterday I met the team at @RefugeCharity & heard survivors’ share heartbreaking stories. Too many victims of abuse & their children are put at risk in the family courts — a lack of trauma understanding & the presumption of contact is putting lives in danger. This must change.

Really interesting write up about knowledge equity and research. Reminds me of a recent experience @criminology when an ethics board tried to block my research for being unethical because my consent form gave participants the option to suggest their own pseudonym. 🙄
