@_Jehffy This guy is going to be getting some serious play this season 👌
English

@DawnGolfer 😂🤣 they prob just weren't prepared, my people must not have given advance notice
English

@R_COLEjr Drive by 📸 ! Honestly for greens under 10" snow two weeks ago - rolling better than most of the states courses can do in season 🤯
Love talking to our Director of Agronomy about this stuff, like what he sees, what he expects, genius guy could listen to him all day long
English

@JeremiahF74048 Prob just in awe a dad with two toddlers dressed in almost all white ton jump on a plane 😂
English

@JD_Patrick They probably all thought they were too beneath you to speak to you
English

@JD_Patrick Sarcasm aside, that sweater is ELITE
English

@briansu75330388 Is there somewhere they hand those out to you ahead of time...?
English

@JD_Patrick You have to flash a Rolex for that treatment, sir.
English

@JD_Patrick They probably didn’t even know it was H&B too. Sad!
English

@Coore_Crenshaw 🤣😂 ... I'm gonna have to get really REALLY good at my job to get that perk
English

@Beersgolfsteaks In their defense... Would have been a long ass carpet to the last row on the plain 😂
English

@NOTdaRealGil Right... Like what are we even doing in this society
English

@IrvingLinks Not hard to find a Beachcomber sweatshirt though!
English

@JD_Patrick Went on the Logan Logo Lookout during a long delay getting out of Boston earlier this week, but the only local sightings of note were two Country Club squirrel logos. Need more Cape representation at the airport!

@sopranocorradoo @asteadydecline_ About as traditional pricing as craft manufacturing apparel industry gets:
Domestic Manufacturing + inefficiencies = $12-18
Wholesale price to retailer distributers = $30-34
Retail keystone pricing = $68
So the margins are pretty small through the entire process
English

@JD_Patrick @asteadydecline_ Yeah I wasn’t really making the argument that Ralph Lauren is high quality. Point was it’s a $10 shirt and $70 for the logo. Whereas Velva Sheen is what a $20 shirt? Where’s the remaining $50 coming from lol
English

@kyle_wangeman Totally get it, Topwin though based out of LA is technically Japanese ownership, and falls into that Japanese American Revival/ heritage movement - they totally play into each other as compliments
English

@JD_Patrick appreciate the reply, that makes sense, the ones I mentioned have a heavier weight which can be uncomfortable if warm and yea stitch count is a negligible difference at a certain point. it is nice there are some good US made options too, I just tend to be a sucker for JP made lol
English

@grimmcattails Great bang for your buck commodity tee, especially if you are doing screen printing - but really different feel especially after washing and don't really have the longevity
English

@kyle_wangeman Since Topwin ownership, as far as I know it has always been constructed with tubular knit 100% US ringspun cotton, US thread, and made in the US - the weight and stitch count dont really matter to me as much because it feels identical even the ones I have that are years apart
English

@JD_Patrick glad you like them but seem to be paying more for the brand than the product. no mentions on their website of what type of cotton they use, weave, weight, or stitch count. you should check out these: selfedge.com/index.php?rout…
English

@sopranocorradoo @asteadydecline_ The Velva Sheen I posted and like are their fit from the 50s / 60s - it's a tubular- knit ringspun 100% cotton tee - that's US Cotton, US thread, US Fabrication and no marketing, I personally think at $7 less per tee or $25 if you buy a two pack that's a significant higher value
English

@sopranocorradoo @asteadydecline_ We can dive into it a little bit...
Let's take RRL garment dyed pocket at $75 closest comp they have - this is a 100% "seamless" construction, recreated from basic training tees made with outsourced fabric overseas.
The Velva Sheen are the literal tees they are recreating...🧵
