@jmc91xo I’m out. Someone is saying this stuff is just “tongue in cheek” shows they are part of the problem when you say it’s just “words”. I wish you well

@JDewbz87 We have a very different view on misogyny lol everything he said is common knowledge. Better looking girls don’t have to work on their personality’s. Not in every case but the majority. Nothing new here. People forget that these are just words and it really is tongue in cheek.

#imaceleb David Haye is just living embodiment of this “manosphere” crap that is happening nowadays. He’s just a total misogynist and bully and I hope he gets forgotten about when this series ends and the rest get publicity etc. He’s truly awful

@JDewbz87 You only had to give one example brother and you couldn’t. He might be being a twat but too many people like to throw buzzwords like misogyny around when there is none. If there was clear misogyny you could have gave an example a lot quicker than it took you to write that reply.

@jmc91xo Mate I’m not sitting here reciting it for you. Just google it, watch the show from the beginning again or even just look them up on here?

@JDewbz87 What was said for you to say this? I’ve missed some parts of the show. I’d like you to be specific about the misogyny if you can.

@jmc91xo It’s not about singing “Kumbaya”. There’s a vast difference between some drama and tension to create TV and outright bullying and misogyny.

While I get stuff like this is “good TV” apparently. I’m sorry but @ITV and @antanddec need to take some accountability here when you’re promoting this behaviour and allowing it to continue. We wonder why the younger generations are behaving as they are and then we have this…

@AndrewSouthside @siobhankennedy4 I think the point is that he started with BBC in 1998 and the incidents were between 1997 and 2000 so why was this not dealt with sooner? or even noticed when they would have hired him? Why did they give someone a platform at the start of their career without due diligence

@siobhankennedy4 As I understand it, Scott Mills was a direct employee of the BBC. He had something called a Contract of Employment. This sets out the 'rules' that both sides should follow. If there's a serious breach of the contract then it can be terminated. Nothing to do with Met Police.

The Metropolitan Police tells me it has not received any new evidence related to the former BBC DJ Scott Mills “At this time, we have not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the investigation. As with any other matter, we will assess new information should it come to light.” Which does beg the question why his contract was terminated by the BBC? @scott_mills @BBCNews @Channel4News

@robjh44 @GrantSRivers A degree yes. Not your whole life. What if this was all some malicious plot or something like John Leslie or Cliff Richard and his life has been ruined for nothing. And yet public still expect to be told everything?? Remember Caroline Flack and what happened there?

@JDewbz87 @GrantSRivers And while everyone is entitled to a private life, when you become a public figure, a household name, you do lose to a degree some autonomy, its part and parcel of the job they have chosen, especially when working for the BBC.

@robjh44 @GrantSRivers While I agree if someone is a big name and in the public sphere as prominently as he is, that celebs do “sign their lives away” to some degree, but I still stand by everybody is human and has a right to some level of privacy. But no one is “entitled” to anything regardless

@JDewbz87 @GrantSRivers No we don't know about those that work in the pvt sector. But we do sometimes know about prominent ones. The BBC exists because of a fee everyone has to pay to watch TV, so if something of this magnitude happens, then we have a right to know.

@klara_sjo That's literally the correct pronunciation - the American one is wrong. It's a portmanteau of Adolf Dassler

@robjh44 @GrantSRivers Sorry but I respectfully disagree with this. GDPR exists to protect people and we don’t know about every nurse, Fireman, Doctor, Lawyer or any other public servant that taxes go towards. I understand he is in the public eye but it still doesn’t give anyone the right

BREAKING RIGHT NOW: BBC have SACKED Scott Mills as host of Radio 2's legendary breakfast show after a complaint about his "personal conduct". He was taken off air last Tuesday as bosses investigate. The gay presenter has been at the British Bashing Corporation for over 25 years.
