I’m right wing and I don’t have to pretend it’s bad. I’ve walked out of 3 movies in all my years. This movie marked number 3 for me. I’ve been to film school and been on many film and show sets over the years. This movie is atrocious, the casting is atrocious, the story is botched from the start. If you want to congratulate Christopher Nolan on making the movie insulting to Greeks, making the most boring and horrible adaptation of The Odyssey m, then be our guest.

Just watched Odyssey (no spoilers) Can someone explain to me: 1. Why Nolan used a biological female as a male character? 2. Majority of the actors were speaking modern English with an American accent. Telemachus (played by Tom Holland) refers to his father Odysseus (Matt Damon) as "dad" 🤦🏻‍♂️ Troy and Gladiator are far superior films in this genre. I really don’t understand this movies’ hype.. It’s a 7.5/10 for me, worth a watch but not life changing like some of y’all been saying

Just got back from The Odyssey and this movie is amazing. 90% of the hate online is absolutely ridiculous when you actually see the movie. The performances were great and they weren't kidding about the third act. Damn good cinema
