SwiftData does not support public database but you can create custom services to take advantage of CloudKit APIs to persist data to public database. Although possible but very hard to manage. Fingers crossed maybe Apple will add this support at WWDC.

refactored an old app with Claude today. Took 40 minutes and 240k tokens burnt After that app didn’t work anymore. Spent another 2 hours and 100k tokens to fix it Sometimes AI is a money burning pit

@garrytan Each data center destroys the local environment and doesn't actually create that many local jobs per acre of land that it takes up.

Sanders and AOC introduced a bill to pause ALL AI data center construction. 300+ local bills filed. Half of planned 2026 data centers facing delays or cancellation. Each one brings billions to local economies. The people who say they want American jobs are trying to block the biggest job creation engine since the interstate highway system.

One of softwares biggest up sides can be its downside. Since it’s super mailable teams consistently want to change and add more to it. Sometimes by adding more to it they actually ruin what made the software good in the first place.

@stefanoscalia It takes about 3 weeks for the updates to really take effect and balance out. So maybe don't set it to every week. Also the more you flood apple with just keyword changes they more likely they are to start to scrutinize your account.

I don't want "free healthcare." I want universal healthcare, paid for by MY taxes, that covers everyone and leaves no one bankrupt, sick, or dead because they can't afford the treatment.
