Claude Fable 5 is CHEAPER than Claude Opus 4.1 was.
Don't forget this era of vibe coding.
I remember using Claude Opus 4.1 as my daily driver.
I am thankful that Anthropic isn't charging $25/$125 for Fable 5 which I was expecting.
Claude Fable 5 isn't so poorly priced after all!

only thing i can say that's genuinely bad about Claude Fable 5, is i hate how this is only for 14 days of usage on my max plan - pro plan i get, it's been just for folks who wanna chat with claude mainly - but as a max subscriber I really don't wanna be gatekept out of this model within 3 hours of use

maybe i'm lucky (or i'm just not AI maxxing like some people do in ultrathink mode) but Claudes Fable 5 is giving me hundreds of thousands of token runway on my Max 5x plan- sorta feels like how Opus rates ate away on a pro plan a few months ago... I'm thinking of upgrading to the 20x plan for sure...

i'm loving fable 5 like everyone else, this is one of those chatgpt 5.2 - 5.4 dry spells and then 5.5 cooked- same thing just opus 4.6-4.8 was underwhelming and I'm feeling actually blown away by this, good stuff @AnthropicAI and team!

Antigravity is so dead bro I used it as my main one for a while but 2 months ago fully switched to just hybrid codex/claude code and never looked back - even with 3.5 pro coming out I prolly won’t switch, I even downgraded from ultra to pro as soon as they started messing with rates
