Exciting news! We’ve opened our first Waitrose store in Rotherham, as part of a brand new Welcome Break motorway services area on Junction 33 of the M1. It’s our 29th UK Welcome Break location, ready to serve you 24 hours a day with quality Waitrose food and drink.

As part of our £800m investment in John Lewis, we’re excited to unveil changes to our Oxford Street shop. We've got a bigger Beauty Hall with exciting new brands, upgrades to home, tech, jewellery, large electricals, plus a new partnership with Jamie Oliver Cookery School. Link.

Congratulations to @waitrose - winners of a Sustainable Food & Farming Award! Leckford Estate is the only farm owned by a British supermarket - a third of the estate is dedicated solely to biodiversity, while the rest operates with a focus on farming in harmony with nature.

Finally Marija Rompani from the John Lewis Partnership. She says business and politics is paying serious attention to biodiversity loss- not the case when she working 20 years ago. This is a cause for optimism.
