I can understand why some clubs rest key players for Cup games. The reasons are obvious. However I'll never understand why teams like Fulham have made 9/10 changes? What's the point? Why not go for a trophy? They aren't going to be relegated or qualify for Europe so why not? 🤷‍♂️

@thechelskikid yeah I understand your point, it would seem to make sense. I think it's probably a cost/benefit analysis thing, even if smaller clubs advance to later rounds they'll end up playing and likely losing to bigger clubs who are taking the competition more seriously at that point
