1. Die USS Ford Strike Group wird SOFORT von der Karibik in den nahen Osten verlegt, bei der zunächst vermuteten USS Bush hätte es min. 2-4 Wochen gedauert, bevor sie hätte los können. 2. Bis Ende April/ Anfang Mai soll die USS Ford bereits zurück sein, was darauf hindeutet, dass die Air Kampagne gegen das Mullah Regime nicht in weiter Zukunft liegt, und die Zeit sehr knapp bemessen ist, um „andere Lösungen“ zu finden, an die ich nicht glaube. 3. Die Ford wird voraussichtlich in ca. 10-14 Tagen in Strike -Position des Iran eintreffen, was mehr oder weniger mit dem Ende der olympischen Winterspiele zusammen kommt. 4. To say I’m disappointed in the joint statement by leaders from France, Germany and the UK regarding Operation Epic Fury is an understatement. It is so sad to see western democracies lose their passion for justice and a sense of right and wrong the further away from their shores the event occurs. Everyone in Europe is rightly impassioned about Russia invading Ukraine. But when it comes to the long suffering people of Iran, Europe has been pathetic. Iran just fired missiles at five countries simultaneously. Here is what actually happened to each of them. Bahrain. Confirmed hit on the US Navy Fifth Fleet headquarters. Bahrain’s own state news agency reported the strike. No casualty figures released yet. This is the command center for every American naval operation in the Persian Gulf. It was struck. UAE. Multiple missiles intercepted by Emirati air defenses. One civilian killed in Abu Dhabi from falling debris. The UAE defense ministry confirmed the intercepts. The Emirates just absorbed an act of war on its sovereign territory from a country it shares a maritime border with. Qatar. Missile intercepted. Zero damage. The Qatari Interior Ministry confirmed. The same country Iran just attacked is the country that hosted Al Udeid for twenty years as a gesture of regional balance. That balance ended this morning. Kuwait. KUNA state news agency confirmed missiles were “dealt with” in Kuwaiti airspace. No reported damage. The UAE did not launch strikes on Isfahan. Qatar hosted diplomatic back channels. Kuwait maintained neutrality for three decades. Jordan was mediating. Iran just converted every neutral and semi-neutral state in the Gulf into a potential co-belligerent. Die Rede von Marco Rubio war eine vergiftete Liebeserklärung. An dieser Rede war überhaupt nichts beruhigend. Rubio hat zwar einen anderen Ton gewählt als US-Vizepräsident J. D. Vance aber keinen anderen Inhalt und er hat eine Welt beschworen, die nicht unsere ist. Die kollektive Erleichterung, die in dem großen Applaus für die Rede zum Ausdruck gekommen ist, ist ein Trugschluss. Die unangebrachten wie naiven Standing Ovations zeigen, dass ein Großteil derer, die es besser wissen müssten, immer noch nicht verstanden haben, was die Stunde für Europa geschlagen hat.

George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq in 2003 was not a mistake. The real mistake was his father’s unfinished job in 1991. When action is not taken at the right time, the political and material costs only grow. During the twelve-day war, Trump should have joined Netanyahu and finished the job against the Islamic Republic. @NiohBerg I think, we all have every right to hold them accountable for what happened and is still happening. I just hope that all this going on now is part of a bigger plan, that will hopefully very soon go into realization. The people of Iran need that help that was promised to them.
