@Hogdale_ @MattLombo24 Is Rafaela a better 2B than Mayer/Monasterio? Rafaela is a 3-4 WAR player because of his defense at CF

Really have no idea what the plan is if Casas has a like .1100 OPS in WOR by May
Duran is the DH

Triston Casas and Masataka Yoshida both getting work in the back fields games. Casas just hit a home run to right that was absolutely crushed.

@redsoxstats @ChrisCotillo Obviously don’t want that to happen, but what kinda player fits that bill?

The pitching order for tonight's Spring Breakout game: Jake Bennett, Juan Valera, Kyson Witherspoon, Marcus Phillips and Anthony Eyanson.

@ChrisCotillo That looks like the package heading out the next time a team puts a young superstar bat on the trade block.

Cora said Ranger Suarez will likely be the No. 5 starter the first time through the rotation because his buildup is behind the others. With off days, that can be manipulated. But don't expect him to pitch in Cincinnati.

Jacob deGrom being the best pitcher for a 4-year span is less impressive when you compare it to the 4-year span of another pitcher who had a shorter career.
Pedro’s 1997-2000 domination tour doesn’t even include his 202 ERA+ season in 2002 and 211 ERA+ season in 2003.
deGrom was great, but no Pedro. We should not treat him as such.

@PeteATurner @podoffame “He didn’t do much”? He was the unanimous best pitcher in baseball for 4 straight years

Made a full team of players the Red Sox either unceremoniously traded away or let walk via free agency over the last ~25 years. Pretty strong group. I think they'd win 120 games. Anyone else I should add?

Red Sox could definitely use a bit more pop in the lineup but I think we're quickly nearing the point to where the lack of power is being overstated. People talking about this lineup like they're the Pirates or the Marlins. I think they're a middle of the pack power hitting team, not a bottom of the league power hitting team...
-I think we all expect 20+ HRs from Roman Anthony, that may even be on the conservative side
-Wilyer Abreu was well on his way to a 30 HR season last year prior to his calf injury. Ended up hitting 22 HRs
-Willson Contreras has hit 20+ HRs in 4 of his last 5 seasons including last year
-Trevor Story hit 25 HRs last year and should be good for another 20+ as long as he can stay on the field
-I'd argue the Romy/Mayer platoon will add another 20 HRs, combined for 13 HRs last year despite only 127 ABs out of Mayer
-Duran and Rafaela aren't big power guys but you can count on another ~15 a piece from each of them
-Triston Casas should return at some point before the ASB. He's been an .800 OPS bat with good power when he's been healthy—29 HRs per 162 so far

@redsoxstats @JakeBale123 It’s been mentioned the Red Sox and Astros had/are having some about Paredes, do you think Correa could be an option?
English

@JakeBale123 I mean, I've been looking at it for months and I don't think there is a clear preferred option. There are major issues with just about every 2b/3b/ss you could trade for or sign. Going bigger probably opens up more possibilities than likely 1-for-1 type options.
English

Which No. 1 or No. 2 Starter would you like to see the Red Sox acquire?
Per @bradfo the Red Sox are aggressive in their pursuit for one
English

@Tommygunn1544 @SawxSouth Going back to last season...
1) Doesn´t make sense to have a $300mill 3B, the face of your team, and give $40m/yr to another 3B.
2) Glad we agree
3) They should, and not just another SP, a #2.
English

@JLopezTer @SawxSouth 1) Tucker makes no sense
2) Nico makes a ton of sense
3) very unlikely to add another SP
