@criminaldo_ @ManagerTactical No one ever said the World Cup was supposed to be the 48 best teams. UEFA gets 33% of the teams. In 2022 UEFA got 41% and Italy still missed out. And that one they lost to North Macedonia. Italy isn’t out because of Haiti or Curaçao.

I will never understand anyone that defends what FIFA has done to the 2026 World Cup. The games will be good despite FIFA, not because of them. Through their greed they have killed excitement, isolated a huge portion of the fans and turned this into an elitist event. I’d not be surprised if we end up with a few half empty stadiums for the first time in World Cup history.

Those moments happen, even at world cups (see Costa Rica's run to the quarter finals in 2014). Any nation can beat any team at any point, just how you guys lost to the Faroe Islands.
